Joseph s Tomb Booby-Trapped by PLO Forces
Arutz Sheva ^ | 4-4-02

Posted on 04/04/2002 8:52:42 AM PST by SJackson

Large quantities of explosives have been placed in the Joseph’s Tomb complex in Shechem, preventing our forces now operating in Shechem from entering the holy site and liberating it once again from the hands of PLO militia forces.

The IDF abandoned the holy site on 7 October 2000, in the beginning of the Oslo War, after soldier Madhat Yousef was permitted to bleed to death over a period of hours as the government negotiated with the PA to permit forces to extricate the army force and the gravely wounded soldier.

Since that time, PA residents who immediately disgraced the sanctity of the location, actively working to burn the Torah scrolls and holy books, seeking to eradicate any trace of its Jewish roots, overran the holy site. Israel has remained paralyzed and has not taken any steps to regain control of the site which is to remain under Israel sovereignty only as per the Oslo Agreements.

Since the site of Joseph's Tomb is now a mosque, if it is found to be booby-trapped, the Israeli military could reasonably conclude that all other Moslem shrines are similarly equipped with explosives and therefore order them demolished by artillary without risking lives to inspect them individually.

The Oslo War. Very clever, but also fitting.

I'm confused. Why would the world expect a Jewish nation to lose lives protecting a Christian shrine??

PLENTY of Gentiles would care if Jewish holy sites were desecrated. We revere the Hebrew leaders and prophets, too.

And for all the talk about Islam being a "continuation," they specifically reject both the old and new testaments.

Let's fill it with footballs (pigskin). Of course the Pope may wonder why everyone is suddenly mailing him footballs.

But miracles do happen. The muslims always manage to find some event that must be commemorated by building a mosque on Judeo-Christian historical sites.

We're listening. The muslim palestinians are really disgusting as are all muslims that support their terrorists acts, murders, and muslim revisionist history.

They have nothing to be proud of, nothing of value, they have a fake prophet and fake god, and nasty worthless lives, so they seek to take what other's have but what they take will all turn to dust in their hands and run through their fingers.

It's probably not Joseph's Tomb anyway, actually an ancient, revered Moslim shrine. After all, no Torah's here, don't know what those ashes could be.

Yep. Just like the al-Aksa mosque, the Dome of the devil, and the other Islamic junk on the Temple Mount was always there and that there wasn't really a Temple there, nor any Jewish connection to that location.

If we allow it, there will come a day when these thugs try to erect a mosque over St. Peter's tomb.

Nobody but a few and some disparate stories in the press from time to time gave a rat's *ss when the Pan Albanian Islamics destroyed all kinds of Serbian Orthodox churches and sights. By the way. The Saudis offered almost a half a million to build mosques in Kosovo. Some likely over those same areas where churches once stood.

All these barbarous acts by the Albanian extremists have occured in the presence of UN and the International Peace Forces (KFOR), not in the time of war but of PEACE. The Serbian Orthodox Church and its Historical and Religious heritage are exposed to systematic destruction and extermination in the very presence of the most powerful armed forces of the world and in the very heart of Europe. The Kosovo Albanian gangs of looters, arsonsts, miners are mercilessly destroying the monuments which are of world wide renown and which have survived centuries of turbulent history. With such a systematic campaign against the Christianity, Civilization and World Culture Kosovo Albanian extremists prove that thier goal remains ethnically cleansed Kosovo without Serbs and their Christian monuments.

When we lived in Iran, we visited Daniel's tomb in Susa and walked the streets where Esther was Queen. It was close to the Iran/Iraq border. I've never heard if it still stands after those two countries were at war.

I bet not. :( I've heard that the town we lived in, Ahwaz, Iran, had been leveled.

Those Muslims. *Tori shakes her head sadly*
