Someone else the other day wondered how she got through medical school (how she got through 4th grade, is more like it) and I would like to add my voice to that question.

Does she really have a doctorate in medicine? I doubt whether she could read a thermometer. Seems more like an Ed.D. (doctorate in "Education").

I had planned for the longest time to name my first born daughter after my best childhood friend whose name was Jocelyn. I thought it was the greatest sounding name & nearly original in a world of Jessica's & Heather's.

Then comes along JOYCELYN (correct spelling) Elders playing the dingbat advocate of irresponsibility in adolescent sexuality. Seemingly everyone, including "Uncle Rush" Limbaugh, has mispronounced the misspelled version of her name for so long that I'd run the risk of clocking someone for asking "Oh, did you name her for Surgeon General Elders?"

Maybe by the time I have my fourth daughter people will have forgotten the witch.
