WAJR had removed the poll last Thursday when Mr. Wolfe had pulled ahead, and now has reinstated it - possibly since it seems to have found some 'Rat support for thier candidate? Jay Wolfe is endorsed by the Charleston Daily Mail newspaper and apparently not (yet) by this radio station. Click here for the Previous FR Thread

Hiram Lewis is a young attorney (oh no, another lawyer!) with no political experience who is challenging Mr. Wolfe for the Republican US Senate nomination. Jay Wolfe is a former WV State Senator.

Need some help on this U.S. Senate poll. Please click on the link above, review the websites of the two Repubbie candidates, and make your selection. IMHO, Mr. Wolfe is the better candidate - experienced, networked across the state, already has campaign headquarters lined-up (cut and paste URLs above for the pics), etc.

1.) John D. Rockefeller 109 votes, 20%
2.) Hiram Lewis 248 votes 46%
3.) Jay Wolfe 188 votes 34%

Unsure how I got pinged on this, but if I was voting in WV election Wolfe'd get my vote.

I'm not so keen on Lewis' support of public education and government control of religion spelled faith based initiative. Frankly if my chapel took part of any of that, I'd run for the door so fast you'd not even see a blur.

Thanks for the ping, RFP. It matters that we stand in the gap as the organized left tries to manipulate news as they will. Remember Jesse Jackson running for his car when confronted by determined, knowledgeable and disciplined Freepers at the USSC following election 2000. The left's response to our post election national rallies (non-rent-a-mob....but REAL), "the RIGHT isn't supposed to fight!"

It matters. (^:
