I'd like to find some independent corroboration of this from a source with just a skosh more credibility than the Sierra Times. I find it strange that CNN, MSNBC, and AP have no mention of this potentially explosive situation.

Do be advised that since I increased my volume of mass emails to letters to editors I have gotten return volleys of virus attacks- my ISP filters them out before the get to my PC, but if yours does not, take appropriate precautions to guard your PC.

I take this as a positive- my emails are simply links with no editorial content; so the other side must fear & loath the information even reaching the public.

Based on what's happened earlier it seems clear the politicians are using the threat of force to ram their tax proposals through. If that happens I suspect things will get ugly - as they should. Obviously we "average" citizens have tolerated the overtaxation of our income and assets far too long.

Thank goodness the good folks in Tennessee are saying "enough." We need to support them AND follow their example IMHO.

Hello folks in Tennessee. Keep up the fight for lower not higher taxes. Raise hell and let your legislature know your true feelings. Tell them if they vote more taxes you will be against their reelection no matter party affiliation. Protesting is good for the soul and the health of your country.
