Condit killed Chandra to protect his ass and the powerful sex ring perverts he ran with.... don't forget, he would think boffing a twenty-year old might not do down well in Modesto after the Clintoonia escapades... they kept her in a simple freezer and after 9-11 got everyone's attention had her dumped to imply a copy cat killing.... the bastard's cunning and low-life and perverted and creepy and connected and power-loving and hypocritical.... you figure his capabilities

...the fact that her body was taken to Rock Creek is hugely significant... They didn't say that the body was taken to the park, it says that the body was put at the site. In other words, the murderer either killed her there or dragged her there and then buried her in a shallow grave, thus the cadets would not have smelled anything between the dirt and underbrush. Apparently over the past year, the body has surfaced through erosion and animals.

He took out a knife as he held Miss Wiegand, a 26-year-old lawyer originally from Pittsburgh, OMG now my local news stations will have a field day with this information. Boy are we lucky here in Pittsburgh

I've never heard of Geragos being a Scientologist.

I think Levy was too young, powerless and inexperienced to pose any serious threat to Condit. That's what Clinton thought about Monica!!!!

Leaving the walkman and her gold ring? Doesn't sound right.A man that is after women only isn't after their belongings. He probably wanted to and/or did rape her.

It would be unusual to map out a jogging path for an evening run.Wasn't evening. She left her competer at 1pm.

But I don't see the motiveThere may not have been a motive. He seemed to me the kind that could fly off in a rage pretty easily. He might have overreacted to something and injured her by pushing or by hitting her with something. The crime may be he left her to die.

I believe the Congressman in reference was Joe Scarborough and he left the position to spend more time with his children, if memory serves me correctly.

That's true, but then why is it that Condit won't release his movements for that day? And why does he continue to refuse to let the Levy's lawyer's ask him questions? And why does he REFUSE to take a Legitmate lie detector test?
I wouldn't be surprised IF he finally gives details about what he did that day AFTER the police say it is impossible to determine the time of death!! Which will only make him look even more guilty if that is possible.

That's true, but then why is it that Condit won't release his movements for that day? Its possible and probable he did meet her or planned to meet her at the park. He may not want it out that he could have prevented her death or contributed to it by meeting her there.
Its also possible he killed her there. The disposal of the watch case still really bothers me.
To: VRWC_minion
And where is that blasted watch???? If he gave the watch to her and she wore it could it be mistaken as a bracelet?
But yeah, that box. Might be that getting rid of that is what does him in.

We need to think like Columbo!

Has anyone mentioned the maintenance people who regularly take care of the park? You would think the reporters would be talking to them, but I haven't seen anything about them.

but then why is it that Condit won't release his movements for that day? On Greta's show last night, Mark Geragos said he "was going to check with his client tomorrow (today) and see if it was okay to release his exact whereabouts" and get back to Greta with it.
Do you think we should wait up?

"I don't believe Chandra had a chance to be headed home. Whoever lured her out of her apartment and took her to Rock Creek Park or whatever the first distanation was, did it with the intention that Chandra would never return."
I agree. I'm betting someone also brought rope, in case it was needed, and a shovel, which would be needed for sure.
