Dude, you're putting these out faster than I can read them.

Let's stay on #9 for awhile since the discussion there was just warming up.

They may pin this on some other person but I will always think he was involved. Its quite clear Chandra was not robbed.

I'm taking your word on the dates, but caught these possible errors:

April 24, 2001: Condit said he last spoke to Chandra on this date.
April 29, 2001: ... Condit said he last spoke with Chandra Levy on this date.

Is that correct? Did he make the claim about two different dates?

May7, 2001 ... (At this point the ConditsLevy's both concluded ...

Just a typo.

Finally, I've read, but not verified, that Condit missed votes on the day the remains were found. Seems pretty suspicious to me, if true, that he never misses a vote, except when Levy first turns up missing, and then when her remains are found.

If there was not a robbery involved; What happened to the watch and bracelet Condit gave Levy? Where were the mementoes most girls would keep from a relationship of this type?

I'm very interested about the events on May 1st. A report is made to the police of a woman screaming, nothing was found. Later someone everyone assumes was Chandra sends emails to her parents and friends. I would like to know what those emails said.

If they were personal with details posted that only Chandra and the recipient would be know then it was her. If the letters were just simples statements like "Hey, I'm heading home, can't wait to see you", then it very well might not have been her at the computer.

Like they said, the dogs traced her trail to the curb, then nothing, which eleminates the possibility that she went for a walk or a jog.

PLEASE!!! I thought a person is officially missing THREE DAYs after reporting them missing-- what happened here?

May 12, 2001: Police confirmed to the Levy family that Chandra was "missing".

After 12 days missing-- she was finally officially "missing?"

Thanks for the chronology. Something that might be worth adding to it is that Bill Clinton's whereabouts at the time of Chandra Levy's disappearance are unknown. He was at an AIDS conference in Nigeria like five days before May 1, and his next known appearance was in Canada on May 2.

Something else that might be worth mentioning is that Condit was at President Bush's 100-day luncheon at the White House (at the president's table, no less!) on April 30.

Note that Condit's wife was in town on May 1. He could have gotten away from her by saying he was going out for a jog in the park. Both Condit's and Levy's apartments are adjacent to Rock Creek Park. Levy would have gone to meet Condit at his request. Levy obviously was trying to locate Klingle Mansion on the internet. The mansion is in the park. It would appear she was heading for a meeting. All this refocuses suspicion on Condit.

Condit met with Vice President Cheney at 12:30 p.m. for a private meeting lasting about 20 minutes. The meeting was over by 1:00 PM.

Condit returned to his office at 3:30 PM for meetings and phone conversations with constituents.

Condit left his office for a 5:00 PM doctor's appointment

OK so Condit has from 1:00 - 3:30 unaccounted for..?Time for a bike ride..?

He (Condit)keeps a bicycle stashed in his office to take off through Rock Creek Park during legislative lulls.

Excellent work - thanks for the effort to put it together.

June 16, 2001: Joleen Argentini-McKay contacted FBI investigators alleging she was pressed by Condit staffer Mike Dayton to not speak about the three year affair she had with Condit when she served on Condit's staff in 1994. After she left his staff the affair continued into 1996. She said Condit swore his love and promised to leave his wife for her. McKay said she now feared for her safety. When the affair ended in 1966 she gave Condit the Tag Hauer watch in its watchcase.

Shouldn't the 1966 be 1996?

May 2, 2001: Late in the afternoon, Condit had coffee with ABC News' Rebecca Cooper at the Tryst Coffee Shop in his Adams Morgan neighborhood.

Condit lied about that:

When he is caught lying, in claiming to have been with a reporter (ABC's Rebecca Cooper) on the date of the disappearance (May 1), when the meeting actually occurred one day later;

You might want to add some more paragraphs to the Aug. 30, 2001 listing re: Rossi:

Susie Borges Rossi, who claims she had an affair with Condit between 1988 and 1991, tells the National Enquirer this week that he had a "fix-it" team on his staff that was prepared to dispose of a dead body - should the need arise. The plan, says Rossi, was readied in case Condit expired during one of his secret trysts. But, adds the California redhead, "If he knows how to get rid of his own body, clearly he knows how to get rid of Chandra's body."

"He gave me a set of instructions to follow," Rossi said, which included a secret number where she could reach the congressman's "paid operative" - a woman - in case of just such an emergency.

"Don't phone anyone from the hotel room," Rossi said Condit told her. "Leave me where I lay, call a cab and go to a pay phone far away. Then call the woman at the private phone number. She will know what to do with my body before the police or press find out about me."

According to Rossi, the same female staffer had instructions on "which documents in his office to destroy." "I have no doubt that he made Chandra disappear," Rossi told the tabloid.

More to add:

Sept. 21, 2001 Rep. Gary Condit is named to the House Subcommittee on Terrorism and Security.

"His first move was to send a letter to law enforcement agencies to ask their thoughts on improving homeland security," ABC's News 10 in Sacramento, Calif., reports. U.S. intelligence officials reportedly lobbied to have Condit removed from the sensitive post after his affair with missing Washington, D.C., intern Chandra Levy became public, along with subsequent attempts to cover up other illicit relationships.

House Democratic leader Richard Gephardt told reporters that he was considering removing Condit from the Intelligence Committee after the California congressman failed to be forthcoming about his secret life during an interview with ABC's Connie Chung.

Though concerns about national security have risen exponentially since 3,000 Americans were killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, Condit continues to hold his Intelligence Committee post.
