Holding the convention in El Paso guarantees that it will get little press coverage in the state. El Paso is a forgotten outpost as far as the state media is concerned. Why are they holding the convention in El Paso of all places? (scratching head)
You'd think the Demos would hold their state convention in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Austin.
The only thing I can think of is that they are trying to fire up a big Hispanic turnout for the "Dream Ticket," although San Antonio would have accomplished that, as well.
I guess they want to accomplish that without publicizing to the rest of the state that they are bunch of liberals.
