If you read my post (# 143) you will notice that i stated clearly SEVERAL times that just because Bush sr was in the same group with the Binladins' that did not imply any wrongdoing whatsoever. Even the C-span post did not say there was any underhanded business.

Thus i did not imply they did anything wrong. I was just providing facts. No commentary whatsoever was added.

The Bush family is a major investor/board member/power broker (especially Bush senior) of the Carlyle group, whihc is a member defence contractor for the US military... However one of the major members of the group is the Binladin family. The Binladin family is the family unit that Usama bin Laden belongs to. They changed their name to Binladin to avoid 'negative' associations with their 'acerbic' relative.

Now, i want to pint out here i am not saying that these liaisons between the Bushs' and both the Prince, and the Binladin family, are nefarious or evil. I am not saying they are wrong.... it looks that they are just some clever business stratagems.

I have been in some 'clever business stratagems' myself. Saying something is a clever stratagem only means you are using a prudent strategy to make your objectives come to pass. Thus i did not mean the Bush family was doing anything wrong by being in a 'clever business stratagem' with Prince bin Talal or the Binladin family.

As for the assertion of the Bush family being in cahoots with the Saudi principals. Hmm, i checked out the full meaning of cahoots in the thesaurus, and it means the following: in concert, mutually, collectively, as one, together. Thus my saying that he was in cahoots does not automatically imply i meant they were in some sort of 'nefarious plot of world domination.' I was just stating they were together in the business deals as a reply to a person;s post, not trying to comment on someones right or wrong actions!
