Why doesn't McCain use the same "brilliant" logic he did with the campaign finance reform law? Maybe pass a law that says you cannot shoot and kill anyone within the immediate 30 or 60 days prior to the day you might shoot and kill them?

WHAT LOOPHOLE??? Why, in ALL of the articles, news reports, etc. that have talked about this BS, the authors or broadcasters NEVER PURCHASED A GUN?? Wouldn't THAT be the icing on the cake? Yet another lying sack of $hit reporter. It isn't a loophole, it's a legal exemption. Brady would have never passed in the first place if it required the checks at gun shows. They said "Don't worry, this is only for FFL sales, you can still transact your guns privately at shows" and this is the only reason the bill passed. Now, this legal exemption is called a "loophole" which has to be "closed" - next up are the classified ad "loophole" (already under attack by the antis), then the inheritance "lophole," and finally the private gun ownership "loophole," which "allows" people to own guns at all.

Yep. I attended a show just last month. I purchased 3 747s, half a dozen box-cutters, two pounds of anthrax, and a crop-duster. I also bought an upgrade to my "Microsoft Flight Simulator Lite"; you know, the version which omits take-offs and landings.

Yep. Those terrorist come over here to the US and go to our gun shows then board a plane back to their homeland and commit acts of terror. Give me a break. They can get a fully auto AK47 for $50 or so at home. They're going to come here so they can get a semi-auto for $500 or so? Not to mention there's probably more BATF and FBI at gun shows than there are actual buyers and sellers. What a nice place for would be terrorists to obtain their weapons. Right.
