According to an article in THE WANDERER, April 25, 2002, the Bishop of Paterson, Frank J. Rodimer, sold off Pope Pius XII High School in Passaic, NJ, in order to pay off a family to settle a case of Child Abuse.

Does anyone have a citation to The Wanderer where I might be able to find this article?

It doesn't appear to be online. Here are the two articles online for that date:

Law And Order In Boston By FARLEY CLINTON 4/25/2002

The Church In The U.S.A. Needs A Papal Legate By FR. ATHANASIUS 4/25/2002

I have a copy of the story. April 25, 2002, by Paul Likoudis, titled, "When Pope Meets U.S. Cardinals, Will They Tell Him the Truth?"

You can order a free copy by filling out the form on their website, the fist issue is free, maybe you can ask for the April 25th issue if they have it or call them on the phone.
