There is no "major" spokesman to be found. The Turkish director of religious affairs has long condemned it, however, and has been branded an infidel by Osama & crew. This, to us, is a welcome compliment.

9/11 seems to me was an election campaign stunt by Osama & Co. Remember, there is no overall leadership among Muslims since the 1920s.. Iran has been a contender as well.. To assume that someone is actually trying to wage a war against the US is a little too far out. It's a few gorillas pounding their chests, and a young innocent nation (you) caught by surprize.. My guess is that a spike like 9/11 probably won't happen for a while, but there likely will be lower level activities by localized show-offs such as embassy bombings and other smaller time hi-jackings and killings. Just my analysis..
