Pray for Bush Day 646- and the end of abortion

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for this day and for the blessings You have given us. I thank You for the grace You give us that even when our hearts are not attuned to Your voice, You are still with us and You care. Lord, You said You would never leave us nor forsake us. Thank You for that promise. Help us when we are weak, and forgive us for our sins, I pray.

Father, I lift up President Bush and ask that Your guiding hand would be upon him today. Father, his land for peace deal concerns me because I know that the two sides are not equal brokers of peace. Father, be with Israel and be with America for the sake of Your children. Give President Bush wisdom and discernment and a clear determination to do Your will.

Father, I pray for the end of abortion in America. Even now, begin working in the hearts of those who seem unchangable in their support of the murder of the innocents. Work in the hearts of the NOW women, to Your glory, and show them that they are killing human beings not "globs of tissue."

Go with us the rest of this day and until we meet again,and bless us Lord, I pray. For it is in the precious and holy name of my Savior and friend, Jesus Christ, that I pray these things, Amen.

Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

We humbly bow before You, Lord, to give You thanks for the blessings of this week and the hope that we have for our nation because of You. What a wonderful gift You have given us in prayer, Father. You bid us to pray so that we may unleash the mighty forces of Your power and bring to earth Your tremendous resources in answer to our prayers. We have seen the fruit of our prayer labors, and we thank You for hearing the supplications of Your remnant. We thank You for all that You have done, all that You are doing, and all that You will do for this nation and its leaders. O Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!

We seek Your forgiveness on behalf of our country, Father. We have seen the warping of values, the disparagement of authority, the trampling of the Constitution , the persecution of the Church, and the divisiveness of multiculturalism over the past several years. We have stood by as 34 million babies have been slaughtered as we have promoted the selfishness of a people entrenched in individual rights. We have tolerated alarming increases in child abuse. We have allowed our schools to expel You. Forgive us, Merciful Father, for these and so many other offenses.

Father, we especially seek Your guidance that we may eliminate the culture of death in this nation and so that a culture of life may be restored. Father, so many lies surround the abortion debate. One of satan’s favorites is that women should have the right to do what they wish with their own body. Yet we know, Lord, that the fetus is not truly a part of the woman’s body. It is a separate body, growing its own cells, with sets of chromosomes and genes totally separate from that of the mother. You created the baby to produce its own placenta, its own blood supply and to be a separate organism, living within the mother. Open the eyes of the people of this nation, Lord, that they may be able to discern the lies of the devil. Give us the wisdom we need in order to refute the enemy’s arguments. Guide us back to You, Father, so that we may be responsive to Your perfect will for this nation and so that every child that is conceived will be given the opportunity to experience life outside the womb.

You have promised to give us wisdom when we seek it from You. We pray for wisdom for President Bush and his advisors as they contemplate the appropriate actions for Israel and Palestine. Father, many of us believe a Palestinian state is a mistake. If this is not Your will, please cause President Bush to retract his recommendation and to pursue the course You want him to pursue. If he is truly acting in Your will, help him to have a sense of peace over his decision. Give him the strength and courage he needs to face the challenges of the week. Guard him from the plots and schemes of those who seek his ruin. Replenish him when he needs to be restored, and help him to know that he can do all things through You, Mighty God, who strengthens him.

Father, we pray that You would touch the hearts of new prayer warriors today. Stir up the desire for prayer among those who seek Your will for this nation and for President Bush. Remind us that we have not because we ask not. We know that You are the God who loves to give good gifts to His children. We praise You for Your faithfulness and for Your unfailing love. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Heavenly Father we love and adore You. You have made us in Your secret place. You knit us together in our mother's womb.

Father, I pray first that You will send a revival across this land to stir the hearts of those who say they are Yours to turn from their evil ways....for statistics say there is no difference between Christians and the world.If we don't live differently how will anyone else see and want to change.The sin in our land is our sin and I stand in the gap for my brothers and sisters in the Lord as well as myself. We don't deserve anything but punishment.Lord for Your name send revival.

Lastly I pray for the President to understand what Your Holy Spirit is saying and do it for his sake as well as ours, in Jesus name, amen,.

Thank you Lord for the many wonderful blessings that you give. Thank you that Your words prove to be true time and time again and we can lean on Your promises and know that you will do as you say you will.
Father I pray for our President and pray for his safety as well as for his family. Lord give to him wisdom and understanding. May he recognize the Holy Spirits fingerprint in his life and yield to His guidance.
Have mercy on this land and send revival here. Work in the hearts of those to attend and those who are thinking about attending the Billy Graham Mission here in Cincinnati area. Burden their hearts with a desire to go and the courage to go no matter the cost. May you impart Your grace upon Mr. Graham’s lips as he shares Your love for all. And we shall give you all the glory, honor and praise. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.
