Judicial Watch, that persistent legal barker headed by legal eagle Larry Klayman, bravely spent years doggedly pursuing the machinations of the Clinton administration. And for that, it and he regularly were tagged as purely partisan and conservative yippers. Hence, what has surprised some is the target of Judicial Watch's most recent lawsuit.

Willie, Try this on for size--when Klayman was a gadfly during the Clinton administration he never made it on prime time news and when they referred to his organization it was the "conservative activist group". Now that he is a gadfly for Bush administration he is referred by the prime time news and CNN as a "watchdog group". And all the lawsuits that he brought upon Clinton and Gore never made it to the news but Cheney was in all the 6pm news shows.

Klayman was the bozo who claimed that Laura Bush was corrupt b/c she had tea with Hillary Clinton at the turnover of government. And from that day on he called the Bush administration corrupt.

Klayman sued his mom for $15000. (His own mama)!! And I think she had to pay up. Heartless!!!

I have peronally called and spoken to Mr. Klayman and he is after money--that is (As God is my witness, this is the truth) when I called his office to complain about his not going after Daschle, his receptionist answered with "How much money do you want to donate".

And his assistant went as far as to suggest that the squeaky wheel is the one with the most money. And he wanted to know if I was a member of Judicial Watch.

This guy sells online badges for people who want to be "detectives for JW" As well as umbrellas, watches, etc.

This guy is dangerous b/c he is a lawyer and can file suits. I don't think he has won any. And he filed suit on the VP without any evidence--the SEC is still investigating. Where I come from that is known as a frivolous lawsuit.

I am sorry you are so happy about this story but the guy is a NUT>!!!

Willie, it was about character and morals and lying under oath. You just don't get it, do you?

And what does this mean? What is he being accused of doing? Huh, not even the SEC knows if there has been any wrongdoing.

A Mega company such as Halliburton is a full service engineering, procurement, and construction entity. When bidding EPC for a billion dollar contract on a lump sum basis, the quality of that estimate is only as good as the estimate information provided by the client. For that reason, lump sum estimates are submitted + or - 5 to 25%. During execution of the project, "production check estimates" are scheduled on a regular basis to re-cast the original estimate and release contingency funds. When in construction, field change notices are written to reflect added work do to client changes or engineering errors or in schedule delays because of bulk material and equipment delays. Every change notice except for engineering errors is a reimbursable cost either from the client or the equipment vendors. Those change notices are then submitted to the client and reimbursed by them. Legal action is usually required to gain non-performance costs from vendors. However; each dollar held in the form of a construction change notice OR an engineering scope change is an account receivable at the end of plant commissioning.

I will not even try to go into contracts that are based on joint venture construction projects that a commonly made up of 2 or more multinational EPC firms with Halliburton being the Project Manager for the overall effort.

Oh, please. Don't tell me you have never heard of frivolous lawsuits. Please, while the GAO is out at the behest of senate investigating and subpoening the VP, who is investigating the senate? Why should Cheny answer to their demands or subpoenas--that what courts are for or do you have different standards for the administration.

Who did Daschle meet with to formulate his energy plan? Why are you not interested in knowing how much input the environmentalists and the ethanol people and anyone else had in the formulating of the energy plan. And who do you think wrote the new finance reform bill--you probably don't know but I would be willng to guess it was them personal injury lawyers.

Seem to cooperate to you means turning over and let them sc*** you. Get a back bone hardy, your point of appearance of cooperation only mentioned the Cheney energy task force--and you mentioned Klayman in the same breath--hardy, harhar--you aren't serious are you? Klayman is a gadfly who is a nuisance at filing frivolous lawsuits.

You have proven my point--you have no examples, do you. Gotcha!!!
