Interesting editorial from Richard Mellon Scaife's newspaper.

I suppose the bushbots will accuse him of not being a real member of the VRWC.

And the Larry sycophants will sing his praises. Me? I'm waiting to see Larry accomplish something-- meaning prove to be something more than an annoying, buzzing gnat.

Larry Klayman and Judicial Watch expect to go just WHERE with this lawsuit? They were so badly discredited by the lamestream media in their pursuit of the "Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001", this could only be an attempt to revive their badly tarnished image. I am sure that Dick Cheney has completely acceptable explanations for his actions while in a position of influence with Halliburton, and there shall not be proved any malfeasance or intent of malice. In fact, a full exploration is perhaps the best antidote to the stories that attempt to prove lies by innuendo. Like Dubya in his deal with Harken, in the end, there will be no "there" there.

Klayman, all bark & little if any bite. But this time he has bit off more than he can chew.

There is no record of JW ever filing their 990's on time. They always ask for a "special extension" because they are never ready. And they have never posted their public IRS filings or financials on their web site. There have been "questions" about money being "funneled" to Klaymans Florida Corp. and to Klayman's Law firm. Also questions regarding a condo Klayman uses. And, they are being audited by the IRS. And they are "fighting" the audit.*

There are 700,000+ nonprofit corporations in America. Many are only in "business" to push their own particular political views and/or enrich their handlers. We need to reform the system that allow some of these entities to take advantage of laws originally designed to help charities. Something JW is far from.

*This all means nothing, of course. But Klayman and JW have sued people over a lot less....

The liberals were right. "Legal Bomb Thrower" perfectly suits Klayman.

Dubya said his administration would not have even the "appearance" of impropriety. What he didn't say was his administration would respond to ethical questions with only the "appearance" of cooperation.

OK, I'm going to be the first to admit that I enjoyed Klayman's antics during the clintoon admin. I never expected him to get anywhere, and he didn't.
But I really am tired of him now that we have a GOP admin.

Do we have to wait for another turn of control before we decide that this stuff is a big waste of time and money? Maybe so, but one turn each should be enough!

Willie, Try this on for size--when Klayman was a gadfly during the Clinton administration he never made it on prime time news and when they referred to his organization it was the "conservative activist group". Now that he is a gadfly for Bush administration he is referred by the prime time news and CNN as a "watchdog group". And all the lawsuits that he brought upon Clinton and Gore never made it to the news but Cheney was in all the 6pm news shows.

Klayman was the bozo who claimed that Laura Bush was corrupt b/c she had tea with Hillary Clinton at the turnover of government. And from that day on he called the Bush administration corrupt.

Klayman sued his mom for $15000. (His own mama)!! And I think she had to pay up. Heartless!!!

I have peronally called and spoken to Mr. Klayman and he is after money--that is (As God is my witness, this is the truth) when I called his office to complain about his not going after Daschle, his receptionist answered with "How much money do you want to donate".

And his assistant went as far as to suggest that the squeaky wheel is the one with the most money. And he wanted to know if I was a member of Judicial Watch.

This guy sells online badges for people who want to be "detectives for JW" As well as umbrellas, watches, etc.

This guy is dangerous b/c he is a lawyer and can file suits. I don't think he has won any. And he filed suit on the VP without any evidence--the SEC is still investigating. Where I come from that is known as a frivolous lawsuit.

I am sorry you are so happy about this story but the guy is a NUT>!!!
