Chaplain xzins, do you have any words for our hero Kevin in the Marines?

Kevin USMC.....Kevin, OMGosh, I'm just sick for you. My heart........ugh........I have no words. I'm sitting here shaking my head. I hate evil. I promise you I will pray hard for your poor parents who lost their baby girl. I'll pray for your healing too. Life is so unfair sometimes, I could just scream with rage. It just not right. I suppose it's lame and no comfort at all to tell you, your sister is sitting in the Lord's lap right now, and he is reading her a bed time book and singing her a sweet song. I can also promise you, knowing all the wonderful, loving, compassionate people on this board, that they will pray for you too. I'm so sorry Kevin. Hang in there. We are here if you need us. Don't ever hesitate to write Snow Bunny or any of us. We'll drop everything and write you back. God love you. Please send love to your parents from me.

What a terrible thing to lose a loved one to a drunk driver. One moment you have this precious bundle of joy -- especially at 7 years old -- and the next minute that vitality has been taken from her small body and has gone away. All we can do is grieve and wonder.

And hope. There is hope, you know, even for one so young. At such an age, she would not have been subject as we adults are to sinning for sinning's sake. Her errors would have been the errors of innocence, the errors of growing, the errors of misunderstanding, the errors of figuring things out. As the Lord Jesus said, "Better a millstone be tied around one's neck than that one of these little ones be harmed....their angels always look on the face of God."

I believe she is with our Lord....even now as we share on this website. The question is this: "Do you realize she wants you to be with her?" As much as you, her parents, and her family want her to be with you, she wants you to be with her. And looking on the face of the Lord as she does, she knows that it is a simple step for you. "Believe. Believe on the Lord Jesus, and one day there'll be a grand reunion that will cause choirs to sing and joy to be unspeakable and full of glory.

My prayers are with you Marine. Whatever it is at this moment....Go complete your mission.
