I had trouble with online links, also. What I heard was Doofus arguing about Indiana vs Ca. flies. He also confused dew point and temp. IMO, Doofus sounded petulent and sarcastic and didn't make any leeway in disputing the guys testimony.

What you said--plus a little desperate and inadequate to the task, I thought. In trying to make Haskell appear the dunce, he exposed his own ignorance, especially on the dew point exchange you mention.
