Not a single mention of the vast amount of money that McKinney has picked up, since 9-11, from Arab groups.

Not a mention about what percentage of McKinney's contributions come from out of state.

No mention of why McKinney was criticized for "apologizing" to Saudi prince.

Not even a real story about any real Israeli contributions to Majette, just a totally biased hit piece.

Another example of disgusting journalism from the Atlanta Urinal/Constipation.

No kidding. Just look at the bias that drips from the headline:

Israeli lobby sends wake-up call

If you have a Cynthia McKinney ping list, please add me to it. I would love to see her lose and get a job at her truly proper calling in life....McDonald's.

Just who is this pro-Israel lobby that they keep mentioning in the article but fail to identify. Typical Atlanta Urinal reporting.

Is this a joke? The Israeli lobby is so powerful because they give these amounts of money? Maybe the Arabs and the anti-semites could get together for a car wash and bake sale. If they can manage to raise $14,001 they can outbid the Jews on Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) and put the powerful Israeli lobby in its place.

In 1996, her father, Democratic state Rep. Billy McKinney, made a remark that members of the Jewish community found offensive. McKinney stressed that she did not share her father's views and removed him from the campaign, but the tension from that incident lingered

I can't recall her father's exact comment but I do remember that it was something that was downright offensive, not just to members of the Jewish community. Nice how they don't print the comment and make it sound as if the Jewish community just might have been being a bit sensitive.

McKinney and Hilliard are both worthy of throwing out of Congress, irrespective of their stands on Israel. Two utterly corrupt, anti-Bush, anti-America (IMO) scums.

The real reason Jewish and other Democrats are going after McKinney:

Howard Phillip's ConservativeUSA.org

Diamonds of Death

Covert Action in Africa: A Smoking Gun in Washington, DC (MCKinney's webstie)

Has nothing to do with a few votes on Israel. Her stand there won't change a thing. McKinney is threatening Israel's $12 billion a year diamond business and the money from that which flows to the Kennedy's and other Democrats. They are terrified Blacks will begin to demand Africans get more of the money.

When The Nation Magazine and Howard Phillips agree on an issue, you know the Democrats are in trouble.

This an an excellent wedge issue to peel off Black Democrats from the party. Jewish Democrats are demanding they get to pick who the black community selects as their candidate lest African blacks get a better deal in life. Jackson and his crowd are bought off but this might be an excllent issue for Al Sharpton. He or some other black leader (a conservative one wouldbe nice) would make headlines if they demanded a diamond boycott.

Black may not come to the GOP over this but they might go to Ralph Nader and the greens. This internal party dispute is between the progressives and the DLC. In the last election enough of the progressive wing broke away to give Bush the election. More leaving would be nice.

Most recently, in October, McKinney drew criticism after writing a letter of apology to a Saudi prince, whose offer of $10 million to help the survivors of the terrorist attacks was rebuffed by then-New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

Actually, she's acted outrageously much more recently than that. According to P.J. O'Rourke's piece in the July/August Atlantic Monthly, she spoke from the podium at the Death to Israel "peace" hatefest at the Mall in D.C. on April 20th. As far as I know, she was the only member of Congress to appear at that predictably seditious rally, where one of the speakers called for globalizing the Intifadah.

I wonder why AIPAC is giving Majette only 5% of what it gave Davis. I suspect that Jewish groups, having made their point with Hilliard, have struck an agreement with the Black Congressional Caucus not to defeat any other of its members this year. After all, the power of those Jewish groups, just as much as that of the Black Congressional Caucus, depends on the success of the Democratic Party.

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

I think it's rather dishonest for our reps to take money from foreigners for any reason. I also think it's dishonest and potentially fatal to our republic that a small lobby that has the interest of another nation foremost in mind has such influence on our policy.

If McKinney happens to win the primary, she will most
likely get re-elected once again, largely because the
people in Dunwoody (North Dekalb) will once again get
lazy and sit on their butts on election day, or be
too busy playing tennis or tending to their socialite
functions.

"Whatever people think, I think she's an effective congresswoman," Donner said.

Gag. Yeah, she's effective at dividing a community and promoting race-based bias.

I agree with Rob. This is total crap. BTW, .45MAN and I just received the heart-warming news this week that we WERE gerrymandered into the 4th district. .45Man found out by receiving a new voter card in the mail. Mine hasn't arrived yet, but I promise to fight the urge to burn it when it gets here.

I will take Guillermo's advice and request a [gasp!] Demon-cratic ballot on August 20, for the sole purpose of voting AGAINST McNinney. The free ride this incompetent moron has gotten for the past ten years has got to end.

I live in McKinney's district.

The Jews here will continue to support her for one reason, and one reason only: They don't want to have a republican congressmember.

Wow. Take a look at that list again:

CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION CLOUT
Top candidate recipients of campaign money from the pro-Israel lobby, Jan. 1-June 30:
1. Artur Davis (D-Ala.)
2. Sen. Bob Smith (R-N.H)
3. Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.)
4. Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.)
5. Sen. Jean Carnahan (D-Mo.)
6. Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.)
7. Sen. Bob Torricelli (D-N.J.)
8. Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.)
9. Rep. Steven Rothman (D-N.J.)
10. Sen. Max Cleland (D-Ga.)

The four Democrat Senators in bold are all incumbents facing tough re-election fights this November in the battle for control of the Senate.

The one Republican in bold, Senator Smith, is also up for re-election but faces a strong primary challenge from Rep. John Sunnunu. Most people following that race say that Smith would have little or no chance of defeating the presumed Democrat nominee Gov. Jean Shaheen, while Sunnunu would almost certainly win. So in a way, donations to Smith could be seen as a backhanded way of supporting his likely Democrat challenger...

Looks like the Israeli lobby is lining up behind the senate Democrats again big time. I wonder why. And I wonder why this isn't getting more coverage.

Anyone know anything about the others on this list? Torie, you're usually on top of these things. Would love to hear what you think.
