If your going to be a crooked politician, your best hope of getting off lies in the Senate. We now have two felons that have walked away scot free thanks to Daschle & company.

Senate Ethics Committee severely admonishes Torricelli

Great, just great. This kind of "punishment" helped reform Klinton, too.

How many Dems in the Senate voted to convict Clinton? Maybe "The Conscience of the Senate," Joe Lieberman?

Ha ha ha ha. I'm surprised they were so harsh this time. Admonished! Severely! Oh, my!

"Severely admonishes" the Torch? Bwaaahaaa.

"We severely admonish you, Torch". Wink, wink, wink, wink.

Should read "Democrats take meaningless action in overlooking corruption and payoffs at the highest levels in Gov't"

What a joke. How 'bout a fine, remember Newt Gingrich signed a book deal and had to pay a big fine. Where's the money?

Yep. If Traficant had towed the line, he would still be there and praised for his fashion sense.

I'm suprised they even did that. I thought for sure he would be completely vindicated by his democratic partners in crime in the Senate.

It's up to the voters of New Jersey now to fix it. But since I keep seeing the face of Ted Kennedy I'm not holding my breath.

Did they make him say he was sorry, too?

What a joke. Wanna bet Tom, Dan, and Peter do not even cover it?

Plenty more will walk - as long as they are Democrats. Even the Republicans in the Senate bend over backwards to try to demonstrate they are not "vindictive" or "mean-spirited". No use, really, they STILL get called "vindictive" or "mean-spirited".

Corruption at its best; and these folks have the audacity to call the CEO, CFOs and others in the corporate corruptions investigations, when they treat themselves to being above the law? Pathetic on all counts, dems and pubbies. I already send an email to the ranking member; not that it will do a bit of good.
