FBI spokeswoman Sandra Carroll said investigators questioned El-Atriss after the Sept. 11 attacks and found no evidence he knew of the hijackers' plans.
They've had more than enough time. What did they find out about him right after 9/11? Why was this guy still free ten months after the attacks?

I say Egypt is involved in this somehow; I'm betting he walked right on that plane yesterday with no problem.

Because it's the FBI! (Freaking Blithering Idiots!). On the FOX NEWS channel it was stated that he left just "hours" before the police raided his business. (DUH!) However, they did catch a bunch of underlings! LMAO! This case is a great reason to disband this bunch of goofs and hire some good aggressive pro-active cops.

A man who allegedly sold fake IDs to two of the Sept. 11 hijackers apparently fled the country for Egypt just before authorities came to arrest him in a raid on his home and businesses Wednesday, investigators said. Sounds like Mr. O'Neill's jurisdiction has extended to the FBI. Dem politicians demanding the resignation of O'Neill and other Keystone Kops in the cabinet will have a field day when the sheeple hear about little Dumbya's latest blunder.

Why was this guy still free ten months after the attacks? Because in our society the "victim" is good and the authority --- any authority -- is by default bad.
This "logic" emasculated our defenses long ago: first, our military in Vietnam, next police in the inner cities, then the CIA, and presently FBI. The spooks are afraid of the ACLU more than they are frightened by hoodlums' bullets. To arrest someone, they must have an impeccable case; but the time they make it such, the subject is in... Egypt, our steadfast ally in the war on terror.

I'm not ready to think that, but it is unquestionably thinkable.
I read about this at lunctime today, and the first thought to spring from my jerking knee was something is wrong about this, that coincidentally, the suspect would have fled the country on the eve of execution of the warrant.
But hey, we can assume the guy had been under surveillance, and questions were probably being asked about, and cops are often easier to make than they think they are.
It'd be prudent, though, to try to figger out just what happened here.
