Wanda Johnson is skeptical. The 46-year-old salon worker is less concerned about black goo than she is about whether there are secret plans to raze all the homes in the neighborhood. The voice of reason. I wonder if Wanda has considered whether the black goo is part of the insidious plot to raze the neighborhood.

Different entities can be detected visually within different temperature ranges — it's the thermal analog of the electromagnetic spectrum. If the temperature continues to rise, the dinosaurs will again become visible. If the temperature drops to minus 500°, for example, than humans will not be visible.
