Thought perhpas it might be a story about Coco Beach, FL. Black tar blobs wash up on the beach constantly. The beach front motels keep rags & tar remover at the door so that you can clean your bare feet before you enter.

While this device was built to operate on liquid propane gas other fuels may be used and in a neighborhood where paraffin is abundant and inexpensive this may be the fuel of preference.

Because paraffin burns at a much lower temperature there is a greater liklihood of vaporized fuel presence in the exhaust. As it is exhausted the vapor will cool and resultant condensation will allow formation of liquid droplets of unburned paraffin. You can imagine the wide dispersal of this paraffin mist in the exhaust plume especially if it is transported in the open bed of a pickup truck while the occupants cruise the local streets.

The simplest solution is often the best answer.

This solves the mystery of the Black Blobs on the sidewalks. These two black racists were there and left their DNA trail/samples aka Black Blobs.
