What's two million? How much did the National Counsel for the Arts (or whatever it's called) give to artists that photograph crosses soaked in urine? Fund the damn project why don't they.

Occasionally something comes along that merits further study. IMHO, this is one.

"Can't believe I'm beating you to these..."

In this case, by three days.

Paula says she has polished granite. The geologist says he doesn't know. (What gives with that). I wonder what the National Geographic Society is waiting on, better terms?
Also, 50,000 years ago, that's a long time!

"From what I heard, National Geographic is negotiating with Cuba for exclusive rights to this find. They're wanting to keep it "off the record, on the QT, and strictly hush-hush" until they are ready with the whole story, video, etc."

50,000 years ago, that's a long time

The thing about this date is that there were other kinds of people then. There was Neanderthal Man. And the cave art in France is only 30,000 years old. What is the oldest writing, maybe 6000 years? This is going to annoy a lot of people.

Don't forget this piece of pottery from the 9,500year old underwater city found off the coast of India.

"Cocoon" and "Cocoon II" were just on HBO.

Coincidence or really magnificent Raquel Welch offspring?
