I don't know if Bush is protecting himself or his father or both from attack and possible public destruction by the clintons but the Republicans in Congress have apparently been told that there shall be no investigations of the clinton administration under any circumstances.

dale, I always will wonder what the real, inside story is about all this government corruption and skullduggery.
I've heard stories that those FBI files actually numbered in the many thousands, rather than the 1,106 count the WSJ finally arrived at.
And that they covered reporters, entertainers, and various "media types"-- thus ensuring that the already worshipful media would squelch any bad stories without a thought as to the harm their silence would cause.
