Clinton wanted to deliver US to the UN because the UN is run by unelected Socialist wannabeOneWorldGovt types. CLinton is on eof them. Id guess Clinton had vision of being UN leader after his White House stint. He might still have such dreams.
Thank God the Goron Isnt in the White House!

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan will tell President Bush on Thursday that only the United Nations can sanction the use of force against Iraq. From another thread...
President Bush will challenge the United Nations on Thursday to a high-stakes choice between taking action to enforce its resolutions on Iraq or risking irrelevance, U.S. officials said.
My money's on Dubya.

HA HA...Bush will just say I don't take orders from no "tin Horn" secretary general who's an idiot anyway.

Damn! Always a day late!
I just figured out what the best 9/11 memorial would have been, and I don't think even New Yorkers would have minded if one more building was leveled.

And... That's a bad thing? Well, it leaves the Socialists free to their own devices once they decamp to Geneva or whereever they'd end up ... here may be a better idea ... Demand as a CONDITION OF STAYING IN THE UN THAT ONLY DEMOCRATIC COUNTRIES GET A VOTE. After all, if the governments dont represent their people, why should they get a vote. and also demand certain "Conditions" for membership in the UN Club. No tyrannies, no Human Rights violators, etc. ... that way, the Saddam's and the Fidel's would be the outcasts.
We'd probably cut the 3rd-world-depot voting strength down to almost nothing, leaving the civilized world back to running the show.
It might even put the pinch on China.

Earth to Annan......exactly how do you intend to back up those words??? Tell me why the UN has any say in OUR war on terrorism. Your UN is hollow. It has no real power. You can wring your hands and gnash your teeth. But you can't do anything. You are not an American. Your UN is not part of America's government. You and the UN are nothing to America. Your words are only an amusement to Americans. Are we getting through to you Kofi?

Hey Koffi, I must of missed your campaign. When did the American people elect you or any of the political parasitical whores to anything? Is this the same U.N. that makes Kadaffi the head of the Human Rights commission. The U.N. is a hellhole of foreign policy death if we listen to these clowns. Please Mr. Bush, please tell the U.N. to get the hell out of America foriegn Policy ASAP, and start arresting the Mugabes and Kadaffis when they land on American soil. The U.N. is the largest criminal enterprise on the planet. Nothing even comes in a close second.

That little man Kofi Annan is WAY out of his league. Annan might be a soft spoken man that has a pretty good command of the englich language. But he is no leader. It's quite clear that GWB wants peace through strength and justice. Not through appeasement and complacency like Kofi Annan. After 19 U.N. resolutions passed by the U.N. on Iraq and Iraq violating all 19 of them. Why does this little man Annan think we would think his sanctions are of any more worth than his Resolutions.
It's obvious that the U.N. is not taken serioulsy because if they're not going to do something about a "tin horn" dictator like Saddam Hussain when he violates every sanction the U.N. has passed against Iraq since 1991? It's quite clear who is going to lead tomorrow, and it's not gonna be Kofi Annan

"Does the UN want to damage itself (potentially) beyond repair in the minds of the US citizen?"
There are a lot of "US citizens", like myself, that knew that the UN was damaged and damaging goods the day it was formed.
It was set up for communism and communists to rule the world and nothing has changed.
GET US OUT OF THE UN AND THE UN OUT OF THE US!

However, I think that the UN has always been irrelevent in this War.

A lot more than you think (and if Canada and/or Mexico is among them, they'll have a hell of a base to launch from).

This person named Kofi who exists courtesy of the American taxpayer and has no accountability, is NOT my president.
