Not impressed with the ditz on Fox morning either!

Do you mean the one who comes on in the first hour, or Edie Hill. If you mean Edie, give her a break, she is just back from her honeymoon, and may be a little distracted.

Daschle just said he was "concerned" this issue is politicized. I agree..... by the Dems.

Gee Daschle - does that mean we have to allow Saddam to attack us and kill thousands just because politicians happened to politicize something? Maybe we need politicians that actually does their job and take care of this country.

Which is worse? When Daschle is "disappointed" or "concerned"?

They can be with us to stay relevant, or they will become irrelevant and slide into history's trash bin with other irrelevant losers in history.

I'm sure that everyone in that room remembers what happened when the "irrelevant" word was applied to Arafat ;o)

Daschle wants to wait until after the election to hold this debate

So Tommy thinks we should raise taxes and sit back and wait to be nuked by a madman

Oh good plan you got there Tommy

If folks have $60-$80 they can invest in a bold new political world, I'd recommend sending $15-20 to the Thune, Talent, Coleman, Ganske or Chambliss campaigns. I think Wellstone, Carnahan, Johnson, Cleland, Torricelli and perhaps even Harkin are in legitimate trouble right now. New Hampshire is a far stronger GOP hold possibility with Sununu on the ticket. I think Hutchinson will come back to hold his seat in Arkansas. Most importantly, the longer Iraq dominates the natinonal debate, the less leverage the Dem incumbants weild to execute their typical campaigns of fear, class envy and greed. I can see picking up 3-4 Senate seats this year.

Senator Warner was on Fox and he said the President DISTINCTLY asked for a resolution before they recess. He says the group was bi-partisan, and members of the House were there, too. They were in the Cabinet Room.

Then Daschle comes on and says the President hasn't asked for a resolution yet, so that it would be premature to start action on one.

Gee, I do believe I have caught Daschle in a LIE.

Ah, if he wants to compare this debate to Dole's, perhaps we should drag out what HE had to say in 1998 about Iraq........he and ALL the Democrats were DEMANDING intervention!

Fox News had that on this very week.

RT, do we have that link for Tommy's statements in 1998???????

So Daschle thinks the elections are MORE important than our national security. About right?

Did you see Bush on CBS last night? He told Scott Pelley that, "In my opinion, Arafat as been a complete failure."

If Bush presents his case to a televised joint session of Congress, there is no way that Daschle can refuse a debate and vote on Iraq. If he does, he risks coming back after the mid-terms with about 7 fewer Democratic senators.

GWB has Daschle by the shorthairs. Every time Daschle delays or prevaricates, it helps ensure a GOP senate.

Yeah, Daschle doesn't want the issue to become "politicized" .... I GUESS NOT. We have to take back the Senate.

I'm absolutely slack-jawed after hearing from shrimpy Daschle. I can't believe he just jumped off the political cliff that he did. HE didn't hear the case made against Sadam? The pubbies ought to make a commercial with exerpts of the speech, and then tommy saying this immediately after.
