Kissing up to the AMs because they were responsive and cool - is exactly the kind of FR sanctioned inhuman outrage, bias and display of basic social grace that has rendered our aggrieved anti-everything Freepers incapable of performing sexually. And, that total dysfunction is happening when they are alone, let's not even think about the additional pressure when another person is in the mix!

"gruble mumble ... t-shirt gone, Sinkspur here ... RINOs and AMs and FR ... real patriots .... true conservatives". I'll be on the couch." ;^)

He's not nuts, he's a con-man and operator IMO. Hume said that they had Ritter on payroll as a "Consultant" and they let him go because his sources, insider bona fides and audit trail on leads and authentic news weren't adding up.

He has no upside to getting behind Saddam right now. We're about to make that creep's brutal enterprise a defunct concern. Ritter is in his 30s, there's no bankroll that he could command now that would be worth the career obliteration he has undertaken. This clown could have sold his name to corporations and think tanks the rest of his life ... like Hackworth does, not saying that the Col. is corrupt in any way. HE'S JUST IRRELEVANT, he doesn't have any insight into Pentagon thinking anymore. Neither does Ritter, but that's a detail that usually escapes ditzy Cable TV news talk producers and the legions of CYA doorknobs who use our tax and shareholder money to enrich bullshit-artists working under the title "Consultant".

It's something he's afraid of IMO.

And, as long as I'm spewing conspiracy muck ... I think RuPaul and Dame Edna are really men.

COOL!

This has been such a great thread that I HATE to get offline and toddle to bed...but 4:30AM comes awfully early, and if I don't leave the party now, I won't be able to get up on time.

Night all.

I don't really want to be lectured and shamed by representatives of countries that have fewer flush-toilets than Presidents in exile.

Priceless!

The only reason we haven't attacked Iraq to this point was a low inventory of our smart ordinance and the toll the 100 degree-plus Summer heat would exact on U.S. personnel with their special anti-agent protective gear.

Sorry, but you are dreaming.

Dreaming about the conditions necessary for a quick and effective strike against Iraq is a non-starter. Now, Salma Hayek in barely protective gear and requiring salvation from all that is hurtful and not-hot, that's acceptable dreaming. My recount is pretty much the accepted truth among my many Quidam and Scott Ritter type deep-cover contacts. They're deep cover in the temp worker killing fields of the Old Navy returns warehouse, sure, but they are unknown and clueless. That's good enough for a gig with MSNBC.

Iraq is going down, if you didn't see that in George W. Bush's eyes from the 60 minutes show last night, you probably go through life never knowing what hit you.

CBS: "What was your first objective when you met with ..."
W: "Victory."
CBS: Many of the managers of the Gulf War, Brent Skowcroft, George Schultz .... blah blah." Bush gave props to the old guard, and Pelley persisted in squishing up the message and commitment. Au contraire:
W: "The policy of this government is regime change in Iraq."

George W. Bush had a laser beam eyedocking with Pelley. That means ... done deal. Anyone who has worked for, met or had the honor to observe men and women of unique success have seen that look. It's Steve Ballmer telling his engineering brass "The project is done by the 10th. Thanks folks". It's Jack Welch telling his business heads ... "15% profit growth is assumed." It's Walt Disney telling his animators and sound guys ... "The "Cricket Musical" segment will fixed for good tonight, no discussion." It's Tiger Woods teeing off the 18th at Augusta with a one stroke lead.

Bank it!

LMAO!!! Bush is that damn good IMO. You don't get that job by being a Jabroni.

I didn't mean to scold. It took me quite a while to figure it out, too, even though I'd just been looking at the real WH.gov site. I just couldn't see the WH saying such a thing, and finally tumbled to the url.

That guy is convinced that President Bush is being blackmailed by the presence of anthrax already in this country. Up to a point I could understand the theory, but I do not think we would be pressing forward with all of this stuff if such were the case.

Besides, I watched the interview and the two speeches. That wasn't acting. He's the real deal, and he means what he says. If he wanted to delay this, he wouldn't have been so confrontational at the UN. He could have given a nice "please help us" speech and let the UN do their ususal delaying tactics.

Who know? Maybe Hussein did try to blackmail us. But this is the wrong President to try that with. As you said, the look in his eyes told the tale.

What we saw/heard this morning was quite simply a highlevel diplomatic ass chewing.
I paraphrase the speech we're going to get saddam, you can come along if you want, but we're going. You don't like it...tough.

My opinion freely given...and worth just about what you paid for it.

We are not NOT going to take our Saddam's regime on the OFF chance that he MIGHT unleash some WMD on US in retaliation.

Lower Manhattan is already lying in ruins, thanks to Saddam Hussein. I wouldn't call it an "off chance."

Do you think he knows something we don't?

No. He knows even less than you do. Which is nothing.

Sorry MM, now I get the context of your comments.

Great Satan is a nut.

If the boys of terror had a WMD in service, they would use it tonight. The delivery technology of this Mensa crew is currently strapping a bomb to some kid and sending him into a bistro to blow himself up, or grabbing an airplane and directing it into a skyscraper as a napalm delivery system.

They shot their wad 9/11. It was like sitting down at a dollar poker machine and drawing a Royal Flush on the first spin. Their glory days are through. They'll kill and murder here and there like the gutless animals they are, but they will never succeed to that scale again. That's why we are going to seize Iraq right now. Bad magic is being conducted there, and we need to keep the killing scum firmly in their 9th century skill set.

It's time to take out the garbage.
