I haven't heard any of the talking heads comment on how well the speech was received overseas, but I agree totally with...I think it was Fred Barnes... who applauded President Bush for the theme of his speech which was to point the finger of responsibility at the UN. To remind the UN: It was the UN who allowed Saddam to get away with his "Decade of Defiance". For pointing out to the UN, that Saddam has thumbed his nose at their sanctions for all this time, with impunity.

RE Fred: did he or did he NOT have his arms crossed? That's how you tell how excited he is!

Can anyone tell if Bush was reading this speech from a teleprompter? It didn't look like it. He was so focused and looking the people squarely in the eye. His body language said a lot too.

CNN went right away to the capitols around the world which is why I switched to them. Was pleasantly surprised with the take the Aaron Brown had on their reaction and he came right out and stated that Pres Bush had made his case and the European Community was slowly realizing that fact and getting on board.
