Multi-lateralist actions can be excellent ideas put into practice. Alliances have served civilizations quite well throughout history.

Problem nowdays is having marxist maggots thrown in the mix. Social, political and military standards are generaly steered towards crap by the control freaks.

Kofi knows what ship is sailing and doesn't want to miss the "legacy". That or he's setting us up for one of many traitorous scenarios.

Either way the UN should be dissolved, reformed or forgotten. I like the latter.

"This just in. The Imperial UN's Chief Annan has never met a terrorist
or murderer of Americans whom he did not want to kiss."

I loved Bush's mention of the League of Nations. i.e. either the UN stands behind what it has said or it is a totally powerless orgainization, and as a powerless organization it is totally irrelevant.

Remember irrelevant? That was the word used for Arafat right before he became........irrelevant.

We should promise Kofi Annan, Baghdad as UN property. That way, the UN would be closer to its member terrorist member countries.

Coffee Anus is a total useless failure! He should resign in disgrace, then join up with his failure buddy, the Impeached bill clinton, and do a road show through all the Socialist countries they both love.

Who cares what Koffi thinks, since when does the U.N. make our decisions? It is worse enough their laws have leaked in with their agenda 21 nazi neighborhood garbage but now they tell us we can't defend ourselves???

Many on this forum feel OBL is dead. I do not. I believe he is in Iraq safely in Saddam's bunker in one of his many palaces.

I suspect that at the end of the day France and Germany will come along. Remember when we are done the new Iraqi government will be selling oil to their friends and we will be controlling that list.

Bush should put it even plainer: It is not the "legitimacy" of the United States case that is at stake here (the case is rock solid), but the reputation of the UN, period. Either the UN allows a tyrant to flout UN resolutions, or they take advantage of the fact that its biggest benefactor (uh, that would be us) actually wants to do something about it, and it gets behind us.

The UN is making itself irrelevant, not the US. OK by me, frankly... They're just a bunch of bureaucrats with left-leaning, anti-US ideological predilections anyway. Screw them. Better still: let them screw themselves. I could care less about their dreams of a one world government.

While I'm uncomfortable with the idea of the US wantonly projecting its power, there are times when project one's power in an uninhibited fashion is the right thing to do. Aphganistan was an easier case, but a good case in piont. Wiping out a regime hell-bent on wiping us out and working with underground terrorist organizations to facilitate attacks on Americans is our right, whether or not the UN thinks its PC to do it without their say-so.

On to Baghdad...

An unimpeded Iraq is a constant thorn and danger to the West in general, and ties up forces that could otherwise
dissuade them from overt military action on Taiwan.
