Lieberman is not stupid, he see's the writing on the wall and he knows if anyone is going to have a chance against Bush in 'O4, he had better be on board and on board early.
Personally, I hope daschle does all he can to continue taking the stance that he is now taking. If he does, then the Republican Senatorial candidate in S.D. will greatly increase his chance of winning and possibly Daschle will be TOAST.
The dream scenario would be having the Senate returned to Republican control due to the defeat of Little Tommie Daschle's Dem colleague in South Dakota. Anybody know how the poll nubers are going in that race?
