Bob Graham is one of the most liberal senators in the
rat caucus, but he has a way of talking conservative to
the voters of Florida, and then voting the straight
leftist rat position on the floor of the senate. He is
a premier hypocrite that has to talk out of both sides
of his mouth in order to maintain his senate seat.

Sadly, Graham has his Senate seat for as long as he wants it. He was a very popular governor before going to the Senate, and he's even more popular now. Millions of geezers in FL are convinced God put Graham on earth just to protect them from eeeevill Republicans whose only ambition in life is to destroy medicare and SS.

If the guy had half a brain he would know Iran is about to fall by itself.

I agree with that. The younger generation growing up there and taking over aren't anywhere near as radical as the current and previous leaders.

That taking out Iraq is likely going to be the straw that breaks the Iranian governments back.

Here is where we part ways. A US (Christian west) invasion and occupation of Iraq won't do anything but stiffen the resolve of the religious nutcases still in power in Iraq, and give them recruits. "The Americans are coming to colonize Iran and the whole middle-east!" will be a powerful recruiting tool, and one hard to deny or prove false.

Nope, the leaders and people in Iran might not like Hussein, but they and everyone else in the middle-east and Muslim world will see it as a attack of one culture and religion (the west's) of another (theirs).

Last Week, on a FOX interview, Graham said it was time we had a domestic spy agency, to spy at will on Americans.

What's unusual about this? The majority of FR posters agree with this, and so does their ruler,George "The Messiah" Bush. In fact,he already has a so-called "Patriot Act",and is pushing hard as hell for the agency Graham is calling for. Bubba-2 calls it the "Homeland Security Office",but the real name is the "Office of Reich Security". Unfortunately, that official name had already been taken.

The man was very serious.

You think Bubba-2 and his cultists are kidding?

BTW,to give you some idea of the level of ignorance out there amongst even some of the people who consider themselves politically aware,I remember when Phil Gramm was running for President, and several FR posters were calling him a "commie" and other such crap because they were confusing the Senator from Texas with the Senator from Florida. Never mind that the names aren't even close to being spelled alike,or that the Senator from Florida is a Dim who couldn't be running for President as a Republican.

"Lefty loosey, righty tighty"

I wonder if that explains why so many men prefer to date conservative women...

That may be true of the masses, but I doubt the Iranian leaders and intelligentsia want a nuke-armed Saddam sitting next door any more than we do. No matter, even if Iran does see our intervention as an attack on their culture and religion we can't allow Iraq to aquire nukes.

let me just remind you, that most of the people that WILL re-elect Graham, can hardly figure out how to vote and never read a newspaper, much less watch FoxNews.

And these are the same people who will vote Bubbette! into the White House in 2004. I listened to a couple of local successful small businessmen talking last week right after they had voted in the primary, and you would have had to heard it to believe it. One said (a self-made millionaire-seriously)that he voted for somebody in every race, even if he didn't know who they were. He said "I just voted for the ones who name I liked, except for one guy. One guy had a name so weird I figured nobody else would vote for him,so I did." The other guy said similiar things, and then they got to talking about how it's a damn shame Gore isn't in the White House now,"because he's smarter than Bush, and would be doing a better job fighting this war on terrorism." When I told him there are several hard lumps in my cats litter box that are brighter than Goober,he got mad and said,"Well,he graduated from Yale,so how dumb CAN he be?" When I reminded him that Bush also graduated from Yale, and them got a advanced degree from Harvard Business School,he didn't really know what to say. I also reminded him of Goober flunking out of two schools, including divinity school before going to Yale,he came back with,"Well, what about Hillary Clinton? She graduated at the top of her class from Yale Law School. Do you think she is stupid, too?". When I informed him this was just more Dim lies because Yale doesn't have and grades other than "pass or fail",and that nobody who attends classes fails,he just got madder. He asked me,"If this is true, how did she get to be the class valavictorian?". When I told him this was a elected position at Yale, kinda like class president,I thought we were going to end up fighting. He still claimed both Goober and Bubbette! were smarter than Bush, and that either would be doing a better job as president now.

These people are all life-long Dims whose families have been yellerdawg Dims since before the Civil War. All the local papers are owned and edited by leftie Dims, and they get all their political opinions from these papers, and from their churches. I know the blind here on FR who worship Bubba-2 think he is some sort of "New Messiah" who is on a mission from "gawd" and can't be beaten, but they are wrong. The Dims ain't about to roll over and play dead for him,and they have more blind cultists than the Republicans do. If you continue to underestimate Bubbette! as a candidate, you are likely to wake up shocked on November 12th,2004.

For a minute there I thought you were talking about ARKANSAS!!! LOL! It makes me want to slap them all the way back into the dark ages. It makes you wonder how they got all those millions. Probably like the others being indicted for cooking the books. GAG!

I had close to the same discussion with a couple of gay guys who were HUGE Clinton supporters. They didn't believe anything I told them even when I could prove it! IDIOTS!

No, he didn't. Graham is bought and paid for by developers and envirowhackos in Florida. Florida is becoming the most corrupt state in the South and that's saying something next to such sterling examples as Alabama and Georgia. I don't expect Graham to lose either. He's just been in to long and his roots run to deep in Florida.

Your other comment about Florida being corrupt is pure bulls***.

There is no "what if" to it. He is already using third party client terrorists to do his dirty work. Then when they set off a nuke in Chicago or small pox in several places simultaneously, the congressional libs will insist that we "prove" it (all the while criticizing Bush for allowing it to happen), wasting months and who knows how many more lives until they are satisfied that gee, I guess so damn insane is responsible after all. Way to go America, this is what you keep voting into office.

I watched Graham and laughed my rear-end off. If this is the best the Dems have to defend their side, they're in BIG trouble. And, he opened up a whole new can of worms for the Dems by declaring war on Iran. What a putz!

Graham's gonna need new metal taps for his shoes. He wore the other ones out today, tap dancing around the issues and answers. Makes we wonder if the Dems aren't on the same Iraqi payroll as Scott Ritter.
