Mama Baldacci ran the Bangor Restaurant, which is still running. Johnnie B ran the Skohegan Restaurant right into the ground.

"Several Democratic Members, meanwhile, are furious about the magazine's portrayal of a private dinner they had at the Capital Grille on Sept. 13, which was crashed by Davis and two female friends.

The mag describes a "rowdy" get-together, during which, "one by one, cigars in hand, the men stand to give toasts before drinking deep into the red wine and breaking into fits of loud laughter."

There are even photos of the ladies posing with jovial-looking Democratic Reps. Mike Doyle (Pa.), Robert Brady (Pa.), John Larson (Conn.), John Baldacci (Maine) and Bill Pascrell (N.J.).

How could the Members be yukking it up so much just 48 hours after the worst terrorist attacks in American history?"

Thanx

"Congressman John Baldacci was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. While working at the family business and serving in the State Legislature, John received a B.A. degree in history from the University of Maine in Orono. Through his experience in the family restaurant, John has learned much about the opportunities and challenges facing Maine's small businesses. "

Mama (who was a nice lady) ran the restaurant in Bangor, Johnnie opened up this one in Skohegan. They painted over the signs before I could get a picture of it with the signs. It's been closed for years.

Governor Baldacci is my shepherd. I shall not want.

He leadeth me beside still factories.

He showeth me empty stores.

He restoreth my doubt in government budgets.

He guideth me to the path of unemployment.

He annointeth the legislative budgetmakers, so that my tax burden runnethover my income.

He giveth in to the MEA agenda for schools which teach not the three Rs.

He giveth in to the enviros who maketh a National Park of my home.

He giveth me jobs waiting table on people From Away who can afford vacations.

Surely, poverty and hard living shall follow the Baldacci Administration and

I shall liveth in a trailer forever.

If you like your spaghetti sauce out of a can, served a little cooler than room temperature, you'll LOVE Baldacci's in Bangor. Ate there once; never again! The only place in the country with worse 'Italian' food is east Tennessee.

"But they can only do so much, the State must take appropriate steps to help provide affordable housing for individuals and families in Maine."

"As Governor, I will create housing policies which will help narrow the gap between housing options for the wealthy and the poor, " said Baldacci. "As the state and local communities plan economic development it is imperative to keep in mind housing needs, because employees and their families need affordable places in which to live."

How about fixing up your own place Johnnie?
