Hey, I remember that Scott Ridder. What a change. I also remember when he was being personally trashed by the Iraqis on a daily basis. They obviously feared him.

I don't think money would have turned him, but threats on the lives of his family would.

Possibility:

Ritter has shown no contradiction. When he said that Saddam could rebuild his WMD in 6 months, he meant to add "if sanctions should lift".

Lamenting the deaths attendant on sanctions doesn't mean

By his own admission, Ritter accepted $400,000 in funding two years ago from an Iraqi-American businessman named Shakir al-Khafaji.

Of the $400,000, he claims that only $42,000 went into his own pocket—
