"Race Cleansing" in Zimbabwe: UN Sees No Evil

Only the United Nations, we're told, has the vision and the moral authority to be the keepers of justice in the world. Well, as they say, actions speak louder than words. The UN's bureaucrats spend a huge amount of time wringing their hands over the United States' lack of cooperation with their schemes for global governance. They insist that global governance through the UN is vital to assure the complete well being of citizens in every nation.

Consider, though, the on-going tragedy in Zimbabwe. For several years that nation's president, Robert Mugabe, has been systematically "cleansing" white people from its society. Mugabe issued orders that white people would no longer be allowed to own farms in the nation. Now his stormtroopers are arresting any whites who have defied his eviction notices on more than 5,000 farms. In fact, the soldiers are even arresting those white farmers who won court orders staying their evictions. The evictions also threaten more than 230,000 black workers (and their families) who live on the farms.

Mugabe says the evictions are justified to correct the "skewed remains of colonialism" that left about 4,500 whites owning one third of the nation's farms while the remainder were owned by 7 million blacks. The often-violent seizures have contributed to more than two years of political chaos, pushing the country to the brink of economic ruin and food shortages that threaten half the population.

The world condemned White Apartheid in South Africa. International boycotts were organized against South African gold, products and stocks. But Robert Mugabe is black and the world is silent. Where is the United Nations? Where is the indictment of Mugabe before the new International Criminal Court? Where are the peace keeping missions? Where is the outcry for economic sanctions. Where are the boycotts?

The farmers are white capitalists. The brand of "justice" the UN preaches apparently doesn't apply to them. Talk to any UN official and you will find them hardly able to contain themselves from condemning the United States as an international outlaw state, but it is the United States that is taking the lead in trying to end the terrorism of Mugabe's rule while the United Nations hears no evil, sees no evil, and says nothing.

Watch and learn, America. Zimbabwe justice is much closer to the UN's own brand than that practiced in the United States. The UN and its apologists will disagree, of course, but actions speak louder than words.

The UN will celebrate the death of each white farmer.

"United States that is taking the lead in trying to end the terrorism of Mugabe's rule"
Is that true? I have been following this story & have not heard of any action to counter Mugabe.

There are so many black Africans who work for the UN. Each has high expenses, having to maintain families and mitresses and theri families in a number of cities. They can't create wealth themselves, so they must seize from those who can. Thus, the rich farmland, the oil, minerals and diamonds must be used to support the African dictators and their in-country retinues and well as their servants at the UN. This African wealth must be reclaimed from the whites wherever they aren't required to access it. Of course no UNer is going to protest. The Uners involved with Iraqi oil are making the really big bucks and it is not fair. The first son of every New York based African diplomat and his mistress requires a new sports car with DIP plates. That doesn't come cheap!

My firm belief is that if Al Gore had been elected we would be paying a "Global Tax" to the UN by now. after the tax I think that the UN has the desire to relocate large numbers of Third World people to Europe and North America to level the world economic level.

"Race Cleansing" in Zimbabwe: UN Sees No Evil

Far from seeing evil, the UN views the killing of whites by colored people as good.

I think that you are looking in the wrong direction, to place the blame here on the UN. While I despise the UN, and would love to see it out of these United States, that is not the entity that has failed here.

The settlement of Rhodesia by some of the very best British subjects was under a promise of eventual self-rule, from the British Government. But the British Government broke that promise, and joined with scum in our own State Department, as well as a third World mob, to demand that Rhodesia surrender to something called "Majority Rule," where the majority was constructed of more numerous peoples in the neighborhood, who were not really part of the British Society--with some South African influences, also-- that the Rhodesians had been invited by the Crown to develop.

The real outrage should be against the present Government in Whitehall. Those being betrayed in 1965-1976, represented many who had fought to keep the German Socialists out of Britain during the dark days of 1940-1941. Their heirs being ignored today, represent the third generation of that betrayed trust. While Tony Blair is turning the British Isles into a Third World menagerie, we see still another face of the new Socialist Britain in its non-response--or virtual non-response (I know there have been some feeble protests)--to what is going on to the once best and brightest that 20th Century Britain produced.

South Africa is next. I read yesterday that the Mbeiki regime will start redistributing land from large white farmers.

There is a double standard at the UN as well as in the USA.
We here will eventually get what we deserve.

Yep. Also, they are big fans of the taking of wealth - including arable land - from anyone who is perceived to own more than their fair share. The situation in Zimbabwe is a "two-fer" where the U.N. is concerned.

That's being done by exporting American manufacturing to these countries. The average annual wage of workers in the state of Washington and Alabama went down last year. Raise theirs, lower ours.

The U.N. also sees Israel as the agressor in the middle East.

Get US out of the U.N. and the U.N. out of the U.S..

What has the US done to end Mugabe's rule?

Thanks in part to the environmentalists placing such restrictions on developement of natural resources in this country that they force us to ship our jobs overseas.

The real battle over our war in Iraq is between those who hold a greater loyalty to the sovereignty of the UN and those who still hold a quaint outdated loyalty to the "nation-state" called the "USA".

I sure know where Algore, Dasshole and Teddy's highest loyalty lies, and it's HQ is in NY, not DC.

The same thing is going on in South Africa. They are siezing white-owned farms and killing and in many cases first raping and torturing the occupants. In the cities it is even worse as they are targeting and killing whites for being white. The police do nothing. Not a peep about it in the media either. I guess the whites will all end up dead if they can't or won't leave. And as South Africa has an AIDS epedemic, many of the rape victims who aren't killed end up becoming HIV+.
