A SCHOOL is giving girls as young as ELEVEN the morning after pill in an effort to cut gymslip pregnancies.

The move enraged parents who claimed the were not consulted and being undermined.

Governors gave school nurse Shelia Crouch the go-ahead to dish out Levonelle-2 pills during her regualar drop in sessions.

She said, 'At the moment if a pupil comes to me for advise about emergency contraception I can only inform them of relevant clinics.

'This inevitably delays the process.

'The sooner the young woman takes Levonelle-2 the more likely it is to prevent a pregnancy.'

The scheme was launched at Chestnut Grove School in Balham, South London.

If it is successful, it could be extended to every secondary in surrounding Wandsworth.

Parents vent fury on people who have jobs beginning with ‘p’

The government today came under fire from all sides after the publication of the White Paper Two Birds with One Stone: The Future of Education.

The controversial paper, which outlines plans for state-sponsored teacher training for convicted sex offenders, has surprised many. Just last month a Gallup poll asked: "Do you think the government will flood schools with sex offenders during this parliament?", to which 100% of those surveyed answered "No" or "Unlikely".

Secretary of state for Education, Estelle Morris, today explained the rationale behind the surprisingly immoral move. "I was speaking to David Blunkett about the teacher recruitment crisis, when he suggested that we could make use of the sex offenders register. He explained that most people on the list would have trouble finding work elsewhere, and several would appreciate the opportunity to work with children. It's a captive recruitment ground."

What did Morris — a mother of two — think of this suggestion? "Well, I naturally found the very notion utterly sickening... yet really rather practical. The numbers certainly seem to add up."

Tony Blair has praised the new paper and suggested that it is likely to be the first of many unconscienable-yet-feasible initiatives. These could include replacing the controversial fuel duty with a form of "disability tax" because, says transport secretary Steven Byers "wheelchairs don't need petrol".

Just what poltical philosophy is it that you practice which gives the state domain over peoples children?

But one parent of a 12-year-old girl said: “I was horrified. “They’re trying to take away any control that parents have. “If you give children an easy option it’s not teaching them how to be responsible or accountable for their actions.”

Any parent whose 11-year-old is: 1) in a government-run school 2) roaming around doing whatever she pleases with whomever she pleases without a parent's knowledge 3) afraid she's pregnant 4) choosing not to tell a parent

has no business whining about OTHER PEOPLE not teaching children to be responsible and accountable for their actions.

Enough already, with this sanctimonious crap. The government schools urgently need to pass out emergency contraception to any kid who asks for it, to avoid another, much larger generation of totally irresponsible parents and uncivilized kids. They clearly need to be passing it out to 10-year-olds too, since British government stats show that 4 10-year-olds gave birth last year.

When people hand their children over to the state for most of their waking hours, they have voluntarily given the state domain over them. Then they have the audacity to complain that they don't like how the state is raising them.

Absolutely. I fear for the future of civilization if these little unparented barbarians are allowed to multiply willy-nilly. They could soon swamp civilization completely. Just wait 'til THEY are in charge of the government schools. The debate won't be over proposals to give emergency contraceptives to adolescents in government schools; it'll be over whether parents have any right to choose where or if their kids go to school at all, and whethre parents or police/school officials have any right to interfere with adolescents having sex whenever they please, with whomever they please. And you can bet they'll decide that kids have a right to "self-determination", along with rights to a hefty welfare check, subsidized housing, nationalized free medical care, etc., etc. And you and I (actually our poor children, whose futures we are destroying with this sanctimonious nonsense) will have the right to have all our assets confiscated to fund this utopia.
