First lady to cut ribbon at museum celebration

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) First lady Laura Bush has accepted an invitation to attend the reopening of the restored McLellan House and L.D.M. Sweat Memorial Galleries at the Portland Museum of Art on Saturday.

''She will cut a ribbon and make a few remarks. A few other people will speak, as well, but her remarks will be the centerpiece,'' said Daniel O'Leary, the museum's director.
