They superimposed glyphs on other glyphs in a temple? That sounds more unlikely than these drawings are either prophetic or remnants of a destroyed civilization.

I first saw it some months back. Maybe PatrickHenry linked it.

My first reaction was that Gene Ray does an awesome impression of a megalomaniac paranoid schizophrenic.

Why?

Some people do Occam's Razor upside-down. The astonishing is assumed true, because it's sexier.

Glyphs carved over glyphs on a ceiling? Why would anyone do that? And they just happened to line up perfectly with the ones that are already there? Not a chance. Either prophetic visions or remnants of a destroyed civilization are much more likely.

I'm aware of far-sighted people, like Leonardo da Vinci presaging mechanically-aided flight. Or take any good speculative sci-fi. I don't believe in prophecy as a form of miracle, no.

From this website:

"There may be quite a mundane explanation at hand, athough it involves a little bit of knowledge about the Egyptian culture, its writing system and the well known tendency to "correct" (alter) previous inscriptions whenever a monarch desired to do so. Plaster mixed with a pigment to match the stone color was an ideal material for modifications.
And they just happened to line up perfectly with the ones that are already there?

Not much of a reason to do the corrections otherwise, no?

Not a chance.

What?

Not a chance at ALL?! It MUST be a helicopter, despite the fact that there are no other similar carvings to be seen anywhere? Don't you think this would be interesting enough to make all kinds of carvings?

So you're trying to say that the corrections just happened to make four modern figures all within inches of each other and nowhere else in Egypt? Prophetic visions or remnants of a lost civilization are much more likely.

What?

Not four within inches of each other.

Not a chance at ALL?! It MUST be a helicopter, despite the fact that there are no other similar carvings to be seen anywhere?

Exactly. Much more likely a prophetic vision or a remnant of a lost civilization.

Don't you think this would be interesting enough to make all kinds of carvings?

The most interesting things in the world are known by very few people. The fact that these things are so interesting is what makes them too incredulous to be known by the populace.

I think we're goimg nowhere with this argument. I can't prove a prophetic vision and you can't prove an unlikely set of corrections. How long do you want to hash this out? My initial post was an answer to a person that said there was no way that humans have ever been to the moon before 10,000 years ago. I simply posted a picture that may or may not be pictures of modern-type machines. You're absolutely positive that these are simply an unlikely set of corrections that just happened to line up to form these modern pictures within inches of each other. I think it's more likely they're either prophetic or pictures of real machines from long ago. Modern humans have been around for tens of thousands of years, we only have history of 10,000 years of that. It took us only 150 years to go from horse and buggy to a moon landing. In the 40,000 years that we have no history recorded, modern humans could've achieved modernity in a land sitting at the bolttom of the ocean, or under 200 ft. of soil.

I can't prove it, you can't prove it.

Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun.

No new thing under the sun. Whether this is talking of helicopters, I don't know. Maybe, maybe not.

I can't prove it, you can't prove it. You about ready to wrap this up?

Please forget about the "Caveman mentality" you were taught. Our ancestors were brillant people!

Gen 4:17 Then Cain's wife conceived and presented him with a baby son named Enoch; so when Cain founded a city , he named it Enoch, after his son.

Gen 4:20 To Adah was born a baby named Jabal. He became the first of the cattlemen and those living in tents.

Gen 4:21 His brother's name was Jubal, the first musician--the inventor of the harp and flute.

Gen 4:22 To Lamech's other wife, Zillah, was born Tubal-cain. He opened the first foundry forging instruments of bronze and iron.

Good post. Even atheists should admit that according to their doctrine there is tens or even hundreds of thousands of years of modern human history that we have no record of and we don't know what they were up to before 10,000 years ago.
