I take it Condi Rice won't be speaking up after the keynote speaker for Hoarse Harry, the One Hit Wonder.

But his daughter wasn't bad on the eyes!

Condi Rice was to have been the keynote speaker. She dropped out as a result of Belafonte's stupid and racist remark about Powell. Odds are, Minority Leader Trent ("Vacant") Lott will drop out as a sponsor, also.

I don't think it will be worth a FReep of this event. Though if there is one, here's a sign:

I would be there if I didn't live on the left coast..but I hope and pray we have some FReepers there with signs to let those attending that this traitor, Belafonte, has a rich legacy building of socialism and anti American sentiment. He has taken his money from this country and has paid America back with insults and treason.

They're honoring a racist? How PC is that? The guy hates the whites. Don't know why, but he does.
Colin Powell is a wonderful, honest man. This is pure racism.

That's a good suggestio9n. Belafonte's remarks were so racist that even Democrats should be ashamed. But I'm not holding my breath.
