My inlaws had a cottage on Seneca Lake at Glenora. I spent many summers there boating, fishing and just goofing off. Our next door neighbor was part owner of Glenora Wines which was just up the road from the cottage.

Where the H was Hilliary! when Shepard Niles was closing its doors in Watkins Glen? Grape picking doesn't pay anywhere near what those jobs did...

Prosperity creates Republican voters, So shut up and get out into those fields! Remember, if you wish to eat, vote Democrat in 2004.

And I wonder how many illegal aliens these wineries employ...

What's the difference between this 'article' and a Hillary Clinton campaign ad? How much would it cost to put together an ad this size and run it in a major paper? Doesn't the American press have special tax status and wouldn't their campaigning for specific candidates change that status? Inquiring minds want to know.

Shepard Niles loss is minor compared to the 250,000 new high paying high tech jobs the Senator will provide for the NY upstate region. Didn't you folks listen when she spoke during the campaign? Betcha ya can't wait to see them. In the mean time we'll just continue raising our flying pigs. You'll see them before those jobs arrive.

Thank the Lord I'm not going to Senaca this weekend. Last time I ran into Mr and Mrs Slickness, we were near some Womans Museum or some such thing. As for Glenora .... guess I won't stop there anymore... The stench lingers quite a while from those two....

Thanks to Governor Pataki, most home owners enjoy reduced school taxes via the Star Program. This year, as senior citizens, we will pay NO school taxes. Thank you Gov. Pataki! What has our Junior Senator done so far? Nothing. And now she's going to drink wine. Big deal.

New York State produces some very fine wines - they taste good and are quite enjoyable and are not horrifically expensive. The New York State wine producers don't need Hillary to promote them. They just need to advertise more. As a matter of fact, welcoming Hillary Clinton might turn off many upstate folks who enjoy wine and who never voted for her. Bad move.

Glenora Wine Cellars in Dundee and Anthony Road Wine Co. in Penn YanBoth are west of Syracuse. Six hours and 285 miles for me. Wish I could be there, but that's a work day for me. I sure hope there will be some FReepers who will take up the challenge!

Will they be stopping in Hammondsport to thank Bully Hill for its tribute wine?
(This is a work in progress, all suggestions accepted and appreciated)

As a strange aside, I note that if you search for images of
Hillary on the Google image search, the first shot that comes up is of her behind a podium at Cornell University, deep in the heart of The City of Evil.
