if we have people in the press who read FR, we/I need to be more careful with our theories

And possibly the shooter could be lurking here. I think all of us should be more circumspect in our comments and theories.

My husband says that the one thing needed to completely convince him that this is terrorism of the muslim variety is a sudden cessation of the shootings.

This would lead him to conclude that they has finished testing and perfecting the methods to be used across the country in the upcoming holiday season.

Until the shooting stops, he is only 70% convinced that this is organized terrorism. I, on the other hand, am about 90% convinced, and the reasson for that is the constant stream of denials and alternatives pushed by LE and the media.

If 9/11 had never happened, I probably wouldn't feel this way.

One was also the son of a retired Montgomery County policeman. Considering the number of people who would not fit this profile, what are the odds that these are the people who keep falling to the assassin's bullet?

The odds are excellent. Almost everyone knows a cop or is somehow releated to one.... Pull yourself together. The sniper guy has no idea who these people are.

>He is waiting for this type of vehicle to arrive at the location
The only problem with that is the fact that the witness(es) last night also saw a "silver ladder" on top of the van. White vans are common, but waiting for a van with a ladder or ladder rack would seem ludicrous.     ... not randomly waiting for some "innocent" van... it's the killer's cohort.

I still can not see a clear link to the Michael's Craft stores. Yes, the shootings have been in the general area of some Michael's stores, but if you do some research you'll probably find there will be a Home Depot also located in the general vicinity.

You make a good point. A "connection" can be made to fast food stores, too- McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Hell. They're everywhere (and I would hazard a guess that there was at least one near every shooting so far), but not necessarily part of the snipers' motivation.

If no one has yet answered (sorry just now reading the thread), it was reported last night somewhere that she was in the ground level of the parking garage.

My problem is I see very little brave, here in the land of the free.

I don't know, seems like the 11 or 12 people that have been shot (9 dead) were pretty brave and not cowering.

You don't have a clue, where do you live?

So I'm asking again:

How come none of the government employees swarming through that place started chasing the killer(s) or shooting back? I suppose some of them have to be armed...

I'm a systems person.

If this Saul Centers owns Home Depot and Michael's, then there is a consolidated credit card/customer file.

If they were killed AFTER the purchases, then their use of the CC (and their location )could be relayed to a shooter - same if you used a CC to pay at the pump, although I think the gas station shootings are more random.

Also! I am not a culprit anywhere - last name is Culp.

Police should DEFINITELY place high resolution video camers along main arteries. Big Brother HAS GOT to be good for something.

Just make them temporary until they solve this.

it won't be until terrorism hits a Home Depot that people all over will feel unsafe

Interesting point. I was thinking along these lines this morning. My thought was, perhaps, to people who do not really understand our culture they see Michael's as more of a shopping "staple" than it really is. I have actually never stepped foot inside a Michael's. But, to someone who doesn't really know our culture they may think they are hitting something that is really striking home to all Americans (more like a Home Depot)..I don't know if I am articulating my point clearly so I hope you get my drift.
