Thanks for the ping. At least this time they saw this killer.

Hopefully the PC police forces in the DC Urban area have cops who ride mountain bikes.

Put these guy/gals on their bikes to patrol the various wooded areas in these areas. Deputize some honest and in shape mountain bike riders and give them communication gear to contact other cops directly. Then, let them patrol these wooded areas. Have them ride in pairs or as a trio not close together but close enough to be able to report if something is happening to one of their peers.
