Will John Muhammad Be Put on Fast-Track to the Death Chamber?

Posted on 10/29/2002 12:42:02 PM PST by hardhead

Will John Muhammad the racist, American-hater, be put on the fast track to the death chamber just like Timothy McVeigh the racist, American government-hater? Who wants to bet that he will NOT?

How long will it be before Johnnie Cochrane, Esquire, joins the legal team?

Never, since that will put a precedent forward to kill the actual guilty bastards on death rows all across the country.

Here come the "whordes" of Liberal/Socialist attorneys to "protect" the killer bastards from (everybody's) Hell...

Don't they have to determine whether or not Johnny Muhammad is Al Qaeda connected first?
I'm still curious about his relationship to his young friend??
Do they not want to tells us what that really is because it would be considered "hate speech"??

I don't think you'll be seeing Cochrane on this case. The perps are not American heroes like O.J. was, and Johnnie wouldn't be able to persuade a jury to overlook the evidence, with such unpopular defendants. What is he going to say: "A drill sergeant used the N-word twenty years ago, therefore, case dismissed."

As for the death penalty, I am once again drawn to the hypocrisy of the left. How can someone be against the death penalty except for this case? To be consistent (not a strong suit of the democrats), one would have to favor the death penalty but choose to apply it only in certain egregious cases. Oh, wait! That's how the death penalty is currently applied.

The only Democratic "principle" is winning elections. Whatever is needed to convince a majority of the voters to vote for them (while still permitting them to take the money out of your pocket) is what they will claim as core beliefs.

Cochrane wouldn't take this case; no money in it.

McVeigh waived his right to appeal his conviction, which really put his execution on a fast track. The appellate process can drag out for years, and is the main factor responsible for death row inmates delaying their executions for years. If Muhammad waives his right to appeal, as McVeigh did, there is no reason to think that his execution will be delayed. If McVeigh had not waived his right to appeal, he would probably still be alive today.

Tell them that it is a retroactive abortion.
