I am sure pleased that there are a few perons around that will give their all and watch cbs,nbc,abc news. I just do not have the ability to recover from an infusion of such crap.I am pretty sure that the anchors had to take lots of antacids as they spoke bads words about the dems.

I just heard on MSNBC that Mondale leads Coleman by 8 points in latest poll. I wonder how accurate that poll is. Also could this represent the peak for Mondale since he is the "fresh face" in the race? The absentee ballot situation and the presence of a Green Senatorial candidate on the MN ballot work against Mondale.

That poll oversampled Democrats and it didn't take into effect the political rally-memorial debacle. It hurts a lot, I'm betting. Even if Mondale independents decide to skip the race on the ballot, it's a win for Coleman.
I feel real good about Coleman winning this and I feel even better about Pawlenty winning the governorship.

The Dems have already threatened to filibuster any reorganization attempt that takes place during a lame-duck session. While I don't know if this is possible, the Republicans might not want to risk reorganizing because there are a lot, and I mean a lot, of important spending bills pending. Even if they can't filibuster, the Dems could shut down the gov't and the Media can be counted on to blame the Republicans and GWB.

The Democrats deserve to go down in flames after that disgusting show in Minnesota but also, they did the very same thing in Hawaii for a "service" in memory of Patsy Mink. Dreadful is too small a word, and I pray all of it backfires all over the Democrats.
