Not the Un-Clinton After All

The notion of George W. Bush as bipartisan is a myth. In fact, the president is guilty of crass duplicity

NEWSWEEK WEB EXCLUSIVE

Oct. 28 — As a one-term governor with a thin résumé, George W. Bush ran on character, not experience. He promised to restore honor to the Oval Office, a not-so-veiled reference to Bill Clinton’s indiscretions. Other than a tax cut, he offered little in the way of concrete proposals. But he had pedigree.

Just another reason NOT to read Newsweak. As if another reason were required. Guess the publisher likes playing how-low-can-we-go with their circulation numbers.

Eleanor is a cliff suitable only for Democrat lemmings.

They start with a mistake. Bush was two-term Governor, winning reelection easily. So who would trust the second sentence?

Eleanor Clift (D-Newsweek) is the wife of Tom Brazaitis (D-The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer).

Remember to post the author's party affiliation (known or suspected) when posting an article, just like identifying a congresscritter by party. Someone over at MRC had a great idea with that. ;-)

Am I mistaken, or wasn't George W. Bush twice elected as governor of Texas??

Geez these presstitutes have brass ones...

Why not save time and effort and just write "oooh I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him ... " over and over...

The Dems are blind to what duplicity really is or they wouldn't be so duplicitous.

Think of Eleanor Clift as Maureen Dowd in control of herself.

This is yet another hit piece in search of a target. She misses the mark, of course.

Libs are nothing if not predictable.

Eleanor Cliff, the name says it all. The woman is an absolute harridan, a harpy of the highest order. She's besotted herself by drinking the Clinton's bathwater for decades now... She's beyond hope, beyond redemption, a witch, nothing more and nothing less...

I quit reading that rag years ago. when Senator Tower died all they could comment on was his "drinking". but when senator Teddy was revealed for the drunk that he is/was thier apologia seemed endless, to wit "he may be a drunk but he's our drunk".

All together now to (R_E_S_P_E_C_T)

H_Y_P_O_ C_R_ACY! That's what they mean to me!...doh doh doh!

Hey, do you think I could fill the void in the Hip Hop universe?

One term Governor? GW was reelected to a second term by a land slide.

As for his resume, he had a better one than "flunked out of Divinity School and didn't finish law school" Al Gore.

Heh, heh, heh, it's great to see Eleanor out-nasty-ing her nasty b*tchy self. President Bush's ability to repeatedly out-snooker the leftist intelligentsia is REALLY getting to her.

Eleanor is living proof of Dennis Prager's very wise statment:

"The opposite of a feminist is a happy woman."
