Do you even know what endometriosis is? There is no reason to believe this procedure would cause endometriosis. The ring of scarring has nothing to do with endometriosis, if that is what you were thinking.

Which is not to endorse the procedure; three months of elevated risk of ectopic pregnancy (not to mention waiting the same amount of time for there to be a contraceptive effect) and the necessity for a follow-up dye test is more trouble than it is worth.
