Some Good News from California Election!!!
November 6, 2002 | Saundra Duffy

Some of you know that my husband (freeper Lager) works for Assemblyman Mike Briggs (R-Clovis). Briggs ran for the new congressional district seat and lost in the primary back in March. (Yes, it was a devastating blow; you have no idea.) Anyway, Mike Briggs will be leaving the Assembly but last night Steve Samuelian, a fine young Armenian, won big with 62% of the vote. We had a victory celebration at the Bulldog Brewery in Fresno last night. It was great. Steve Samuelian is going to make a great, VERY CONSERVATIVE Assemblyman! Yahoo! For victory & freedom!!!

Other good news: McClintock has a small chance to pull it out on absentees.

Thanks Saundra. I hadn't checked on the local races yet.

What does Briggs plan to do now? Any idea?

Do you know the results of Sterling/Morales yet?

We are going to miss Mike Briggs like you cannot believe. He's a personal friend, a prince of a man and someone who loves to serve the people of his district. Mike Briggs was key-note speaker for the freeper Post Inaugural Victory Brunch which was televised by C-Span. Briggs gave an Assembly Resolution award to Jim Robinson. God, I think I'm gonna cry!

Good news is that Steve Samuelian is going places! Watch for this young man to take Sacramento by storm. He's a mover and shaker and I'm not kidding AND HE'S CONSERVATIVE ALL THE WAY! For victory & freedom!!!

The Dems made this stinking mess out here, let them swim in it. Good luck with that projected $60 BILLION shortfall over the next 4 years....and I doubt we'll be seeing Air Force One in the vicinity anytime soon.

Pretty sure Sterling won. What about Phil Larson? Briggs, for one thing, is going to be involved in the real estate business. I saw him last night and he was in good spirits; there to support Steve Samuelian. There's a rumor going around that Briggs would like to head up a state initiative regarding parental consent. Wouldn't that be great? I believe the voters would go for it. We don't like our young daughters being aborted behind our backs! (We're funny that way.) For victory & freedom!!!

Sorry, but I cannot feel anything but despair. Leftists have taken all the top spots, including Supt. of Public School Indoctrination (which bodes big-time ill for homeschoolers, by the way).

I thank you and your husband for your tireless efforts on behalf of conservative candidates. You've raised awareness of the issues for many California votrers.

Well done, good and faithful servants.

Kind of like Illinois. While the rest of the county is celebrating GOP victories, the Chicago machine 'RATs managed to sweep every statewide office in Illinois except the Treasurer's race (where RINO incumbant Judy Baar Topinka won).

The lone ray of sunshine is that Warwick Stevenson (son of Adali III, grandson of Adali II, great-grandson of Adali I) lost by a LANDSLIDE in what was SUPPOSED to be a "close" race for state senator. A little-known conservative Republican won. Bye bye, Stevenson dynasty.

...a point instantly not-lost on Mrs. BibChr and myself. How long do you figure we have? Where shall we move?

I've noted you are a real trooper. You were cheeing the CA GOP on, during some real dark days. Never gave up on Simon. But hey, GOP gained 2 seats in the assembly, lost none in the senate. Better than the last six years.

Don't move, just drop off their radar....if you know what I mean.

There is light in any bit of anti-truth Darkness. My heart goes out to the people of California......perhaps there will be a flood of people leaving the state again. But those who stick it out.....like the brave souls in Zimbabwe.....staying amidst the Marxists there.....God bless you and strengthen you and give you hope! God is with you, no matter how dark the night in California!

And, thank you to all who worked and worked for victory for Simon and the other Republican candidates - and Saundra - this new young Conservative Champion - God bless him and keep him and lead him every step along his new path.

Here in NC the Demonrat machine took the NC Senate but the House is still in question - and they kept their powerful Congressional positions.

BUT - here is a bright light on that. David Price, long ensconced liberal Democrat in the Congressional 4th District in NC - defeated a young man who is from S.East Asia - who had not run for anything that I know of but took on the powerful David Price. IN WAKE COUNTY (HOME OF THE CAPITAL RALEIGH AND MANY POWERFUL DEMOCRATS) - THIS YOUNG MAN CAME UP EVEN WITH THIS POWERFUL DEMOCRAT DAVID PRICE!!! FOUGHT HIM EVEN THANKS TO THE EFFORTS OF MASSIVE VOTER TURNOUT IN WAKE COUNTY BY REPUBLICANS!!! Yes, he lost the race - but Wake County was so strong for Republicans it has GOT to scare the Democrats silly!

We won't be seeing President Bush out here any time soon; you're right about that. In fact, I wouldn't blame Bush if he crapped on California every chance he gets.
