Dashcle's 'failure to communicate' nonsense is just a bunch of hooey. He (and Al, and Bill, and Hill, and Babs, and Harry Belafonte, and Terry Mcawfull, and all the rest of these bozos) communicated their message very well. The message was, vote for us if you hate W.

I can't beleive this guy wants to take another stab at running for President in 2004.
To: Retired Chemist
This guy really is gonna run in 2004, isn't he? I've seen more of him in the last week than in the last ten years!

He forgot his party is whiney, bully, losers that cry foul and french fries when their cheating fails. He also forgot that communisim has hijacked the party, and it's main leaders (Clinton's) won't go away as they will take the Hollywood leftist bucks with them.
The old school of centrist, gentlemen democrats are a thing of the past. Clinton's damge to the party is far worse than his removal from office would have been.
The democratic party is in a spiral down fall, screwed royally even more than their denial knows.
To: Timesink
Why shouldn't he run? The reason he quit his campaign is because he was caught doing what the Democrats have since declared is his own private business. And the Democrats have also declared that they have no new leadership -- Lautenberg and Modale, two of Hart's contemporaries, were called in to lead the party -- indicating a huge leadership vaccuum. Gary Hart has reason to believe not only that he is needed, but that he would be welcomed by the old guard.
To: Timesink
He only left because he was cought having an affair. Bill paved the way.

[or] a defense policy that was not just militarism, Hart said. What the hell is he talking about?
What is "militaristic" about national security and self-defense?
Would Hart have us respond to al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein with bon-bons and good wishes?
Hart still hasn't grown up...

Think he can get the "Monkey Business" out of drydock?
To: Timesink
He would have to sick back and shut up while Hitlery ran as Veep and faked centrist and ran the show.
To: okie01
Like his soul-bro (Clinton), he must also loathe the military.

Where's the beef?

Daschle said at his first press briefing since Democrats lost the Senate and the GOP solidified its hold on the House in Tuesdays elections. It isnt for lack of a strategy, he said. Its for a lack of articulating that strategy effectively.
Absolutely clueless!
They communicated hundreds of reasons why no one with any education should vote for them.
To: Retired Chemist
If the Dems have any sense at all they'll nominate him for Pres 2004. He has credibilty on terror by way of the commission he was on. And he's opposed the Dems attempt to sell out National Security to federal labor unions.
To: Retired Chemist
The lie continues ... they had alternative ideas, Americans rejected them.
If it wasn't for vote fraud, the Dims wouldn't break 40% sheeesh

I think this is the best the dems have. Mondale was desparate as well. JFK Jr. would have been their only hope.
