Md. Panel Accuses Gansler Of Breaking Conduct Rules

The Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission has charged Montgomery County State's Attorney Douglas F. Gansler with violating the rules of professional conduct, citing his proclivity to "entertain press conferences" that run afoul of pretrial publicity standards.

The media-friendly Gansler yesterday denied any wrongdoing, calling the charges "ridiculous" and "a waste of time."

The case, filed this week, will be heard by a Circuit Court judge. The Court of Appeals will then review the lower court's findings and has the ultimate say over whether to punish a lawyer.

I guess this was why Gansler was not in the midst of all the other LE attendees when John Ashcroft held the press conference last week pertaining to M&M's charges.

I think Gansler angered a lot of people by going ahead and indicting Muhammad and Malvo before there was an agreement among the prosecutors on how to proceed. Note that the complaint here is about earlier showboating by Gansler.

Another liberal bites the dust!

We may have to find that old record, "Another Bites the Dust". Then we can have sound track playing as we post the threads about the left wing maggots as they continue to: explode, implode, get arrested and destroy themselves.

Most prosecutors I know (not the assistants, but the guys who run for elections) would trample their own mothers to get in front of a camera.
