[history]
They showed up hours in advance to stake out a spot. They formed endless, snaking lines. Some waited by the hundreds in the dark outside just to get a glimpse.
All this for Al Gore?
The scene at Book Passages, the Corte Madera literary landmark where Gore and his wife, Tipper, signed their new book about the American family, "Joined at the Heart," looked part religious revival, part rock star sighting.

"...Penn said Gore is "a gentleman of intelligence" in contrast to "that frat boy in the White House." Funny, it never dawned on her that the last President behaved more like a frat boy than most frat boys.....

"He's still the best candidate the Democrats have." He's probably right. BWAHAHAHAH!

The Democratic Grass Roots go for Gore. That should not surprise you. Democrat grass roots always crave things that make good NATURAL fertilzer. It makes the grass green.

Meet with people individually, and in small groups, not on the clock," he told KGO. "I want to concentrate -- if I do run again -- in speaking straight from the heart, in depth on the issues, and letting the chips fall where they may."I think I may puke....

They still hold on to the "myth." Gore flunked several courses in undergrad and flunked out of law school. I would imagine that Gore probably has a much lower IQ than Bush, but a much greater quota of self importance. His IQ is probably barely over a hundred.

"Gore, with some self-deprecating humor, began that task this week. "I'm Al Gore," he told the Corte Madera crowd. "I used to be the 'next president of the United States.' " Hey Al, that line wasn't that funny the first time you said it. 1351 times later, it's less so.
Oh well, this even more LEFTIST version of Algore CAN be president. President of San Francisco, that is. And he can have Nancy Pelosi as his VP.

This is just more of this liberal rag pushing the democratic agenda. This paper absolutey fonds over the liberals and their agenda. There would never be an article like this on a Republican candidate. I understand Gore's book sales are virtually nil.

AMEN to that!!

This is awesome!! So many good quotes, so little time to make fun of the idiots!! The fact that the Bay Area is referred to as "the least representative" of mainstream sentiment could well be the understatement of the decade. And that idiot woman saying she wanted to "sit in the same room with her president" is so laughable that it borders on unbelievable. I say, as long as the wooden Indian is speaking for the dems, let him at it!!

Stale jokes are better told with a prop.
He should start carrying a violin around, like Henny Youngman.

I have never seen a candidate actively seeking the Presidency two years before the election.

Or two years after.
