This is a HUGE conflict of interest, and a bombshell if used properly in the appeal process. Please pray, forward this story to the media, and while you're at it, bump this thread and keep it going. While you're bumping, contact the Judge in this case (ggreer@co.pinellas.fl.us) and let him know that they need to vacate their ruling regarding Terri and grant an APPEAL asap. If that doesn't work, PROTEST this at the HOSPICE ITSELF.

Was this conflict of interest used in the recent retrial, and if so, what was the judge's ruling? If it wasn't used, why wasn't it used?

unless the American public can persuade the courts to rule otherwise, I would hope our judiciary is unresponsive to public outcry.
A democracy this isn't, but a republic of laws.

I live in Tampa and have been following this situation for quite a few years now. There was an extensive thread at the St. Pete Times forums for a long while about this.
Two truths in this matter:
Terri Schiavo is a turnip.
Hospice is one of the finest, noblest organizations in the State of Florida or the U.S.
I don't know where this article originated, but folks need to get past the sensationalist media presentation and investigate the facts. The judge in this case has ruled NUMEROUS times that this woman should be allowed to die with dignity of some sort rather than continue as a stomach tube fertilized vegetable.
Her parents just will NOT let go and accept the situation for what it is. It's shamefully selfish behavior on their parts. The husband is not the monster that the media wants to portray him as. The Law is in favor of his position for a reason... because it's the correct and merciful thing to do.

V.T. Eric Layton

How did she end up in this shape to begin with? What's the full story on her situation?

This new information regarding non-disclosure of conflict of interest by Felos and "The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast" should warrant appeal of the Court's Nov. 22 ruling, and should spur a call for further investigation into possible fraud and conspiracy by the Hospice and Felos. The court's Nov. 22 ruling is based in part on medical information from the Hospice - information which may have been tainted by the lack of full disclosure regarding Chairman/Attorney George Felos. The death Felos has prescribed for Terri starts with a ban on all but the most basic physical care - the once beautiful woman rots in her "Hospice of the Florida Suncoast" bed, her teeth unbrushed, nails untrimmed, infections untreated. This was not always the case - even after her brain injury, Terri's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, kept her groomed and pretty. Terri was even starting to speak again - words like "yes" "no" and "stop that" - but that was before Michael Schiavo hired George Felos to help his wife "die with dignity". Now, Terri's parents have been safely removed so as to avoid "false hope". All media and medical access is tightly controlled by Micheal Schiavo and Felos. BTTT

Do you have a link to a description of the story with background info? If one does not know the background, then your post is totally incomprehensible, and reads like a contrails kidn of story.

I just saw Felos on O'Reilley tonight. What a miserable excuse for a human being. The culture of death pervades his soul.
Was I surprised to see this SOB's connection with Hospice? NOT! I have always suspected that hospice was simply a stepping stone, another domino into death for millions of unsuspecting people.
