I did not vote to increase taxes 120 times.
Bulletin: Landrieu says she is setting the record straight that she is a tax cutter and not a tax raiser!

"I did not vote to increase taxes 120 times."
What she meant to say was: Democrat speak
I voted to raise taxes 119 times.
Why do they keep lying about my record?

Landrieu is promising everyone in Louisiana $765. The last Democrat titan to make a similar promise was George McGovern, who promised everyone in America $1000. Let's see...How many states did he win? Answer: Massachusetts and DC. May this latest Landrieu ploy meet with similar success on December 7.
BTW, is she was really seripous about putting a few bucks in the pockets of the good citzens here, she could have voted to cut the tax on Social security benefits. Oh...I forgot...When she cast that vote, it wasn't an election year.

And the press immediately followed up by asking just how many of those 120 tax increases she
DID vote for. And how she voted with respect to President Bush's tax cut proposals.
They didn't? Oh, silly me...
